Very nice site and the staff very helpful nice walk into the town.
Nice little shop on site bit expensive but ok if you forget anything.
The site was very good for me with a dog just a short walk to the beach.

Liked….
Location
Site layout
Friendly, cheerful staff
Good clean facilities
Plenty of hot water for showers
Disliked…
Shower curtains removed, no doubt due to covid, leaves no separation between powerful spray and clothing.
Recycling and ordinary bins not clearly defined by colour. Example being green bins used for both purposes. Would have been better if green for recycling and say black for ordinary waste.
Access to the beach is vital, yet the route involves navigating a flooded area on the far side of the rail tracks during bad weather.
Aerial arrangement on full service plot very poor condition resulted in poor or no service.
It pains me to give such negatives as overall we liked the location as previously stated and despite my comments would not dismiss visiting again.

Lovely location, only 5 minutes walk to the beach but do be careful with access especially at high tide. Unfortunately the Barmouth bridge restoration project depot is adjacent to the site at the moment so a bit noisy. 20/25 minutes walk down into Barmouth itself along the prom.
Good sized pitch with water but TV reception very poor and mostly impossible to get anything worthwhile.
As for the washroom facilities well. Very disappointing. They should not be advertised as Premier and modern 5* when they clearly are not.
Ladies toilets completely separate from the showers. The whole building is just very very tired and old and needs a major revamp, yes it is kept fairly clean but needs a massive deep clean to get rid of insects etc etc in the light fittings.
In short, yes handily placed for Barmouth itself but don't believe the website marketing.

Very friendly helpful staff
Toilet and showers very clean
Location less than 5mins to beach and a walkable distance to the town.
Pricing on the high side and they never gave a discount to club members

We stayed 3 nights on this campsite, the staff were friendly and helpful, facilities although old were clean, the toilets did not flush very well.
The trains come through a few times a day, they are short carriages and did not disturb our stay,
There is some work going on by GWR, but that did not stop our enjoyment of the beautiful beach and view, although we were there at the weekend, so work had stopped.
Lovely area, lovely site enjoyed our stay

A bit apprehensive about staying on a large site, however we were not disappointed. It was quiet, clean & tidy & the facilities ok.
It had the benefit of a shop & the staff had plenty time for my grandchildren.
The sandy beach was 10 - 15 mins walk away depending on where your pitch was & was never busy. The easy walk to Barmouth took 30-35 mins or you could catch the promenade train.
Great place for families.

Great site, plenty of space.
All facilities are clean and well maintained.
Plenty of staff floating about should you require them.
3 min walk to the beach and a 15 min walk along the promenade into town.
Roughly 50/50 mixture of tents and caravans.
We would definitely book here again.

Enjoyed our visit very much!
Staff were v friendly and the location so close to the beach fantastic.
Sound of the sea drowns out any neighbour noise so a good night’s sleep was had!
