 First time away in motorhome.
Welcomed by lovely lady, who took us to our spot, and gave us a few helpful tips.
Facilities were spotless and nice and warm.
A short walk into town.
Nothing else to compare it to, but think it will be hard to beat.
We will definitely return. 10/10.

Usual excellent standard with very friendly helpful staff.
Clean modern facilities and well spaced pitches.
5 minute walk into town centre with lots of eating places from cafe, fish and chips to fine dining.

Beautiful views

Very nice welcome when we arrived, they showed us to our pitch and explained where everything was,
This is a very nice site, we were on a hard standing pitch,
The toilet block has 10 toilets, 10 showers a few modesty cubicles as well as wash hand basins,
There is a small river at the side over the bridge. Nice views across the mountains,
The town of Moffatt is only about 500 yards from the camp site, with quite a few of shops, Restaurants and hotels with pubs, there is a nice Indian worth a visit,
Also next to the campsite there is a CO-OP and a discount Muffat wool shop etc.

Brilliant site the staff were really friendly and helpful.
The site was really clean and the shower block was really clean and warm.

On arrival the check in was slick and we were quickly directed to our pitch.
The facilities are good and appear to have been recently upgraded.
The wardens were very approachable and helpful regarding places to eat and dog friendly establishments.
My observations were as follows.
1. The pitches are quite narrow
2. There is a lack of drainage from the grass areas bordering the hard standing. The weather was very wet and there was evidence of wheel marks on the grass
3. There is a little disruption due to groundworks

Always like Moffat.
The site is very clean. The facilities are always warm and clean.
The staff are very helpful.
Not that far to walk into Moffat itself.

Love this site so clean and organised. Lovely wardens. Toilets and showers very clean.
Great stop on way down South Highlands recommended.
Great location for walking into a very pretty town. Great for fish and chips.

Turned up on a Fri eve around 2000hrs with my brother on our motorbikes and enquired if availability for 2 tents.
The receptionist was really friendly and helpful and immediately opened the office to see what he could offer. We both got tent spots by main entrance and were able to park our motorbikes right next to our tents.
Shower block was really clean and well equipped for many residents staying at this site. Met other staff next morning who were all very friendly to us and other residents.
We turned up unannounced but will definitely be staying here again in the near future.
Will now also look at other 'Camping & Caravanning Club' sites through UKCampsite.co.uk .

Superb site, well organised and exceptionally clean.
Could not fault it. Huge toilet and shower block.
Very secure. 5 mins walk from the centre of Moffatt.
