 Site very clean

Nice friendly staff who go out of their way to be helpful ( even helped me put my porch up on the van )

Toilet shower block very clean

Dog walking area checked regular and bags changed

Close to town and coop.

This site is well worth a visit. Hope to be back again.

Stopped off here for 2 nights to break the long journey south. Fantastic place. Just off the motorway yet far enough away to be quiet.

The site staff were friendly and gave us a secluded pitch. The site is immaculately kept with spotless facilities. The location next to town is also a bonus as it means that you can get your provisions easily without driving anywhere.

Fantastic site.

Will definitely be back.

My son and I have just walked the Southern Upland Way for our local Cancer research unit and one of our civilised stops was at Moffat for the first shower in 5 days, Along with the wonderful Glentrool site we stayed at earlier on our walk it was a fabulous experience. Our day consisted of 25 miles of bog-trotting in the fog over some big hills, carrying wet tents and feeling quite sorry for ourselves. We rang to say we'd be late in and were told they'd look out for us. When we got there after 7pm we were looked after like royalty by the lovely staff. They were also helping a motorhome owner, who'd had his step pinched, by finding him a spare, they even went so far as to find us a couple of plastic chairs to use, which if you've ever used a one-man tent you'll know how useful that is! The site is immaculate and the shower block really impressive with plenty of showers and washrooms and spotlessly clean even at a late hour. The information point is the best I've ever seen and it's clear the staff are committed to making their site the best possible. The location is incredible being a few minutes stroll from the centre of Moffat which is a delightful little tourist town and surrounded by beautiful hill country. We will be bringing our campervan up to the Borders at the first opportunity and along with the wonderful Glentrool, Moffat is a must.

Just had another two weekends on this site. Very friendly staff and amenities couldn't be better. Peaceful, remote yet within striking distance of everything you need.

We have stayed here quite a few times and its always on our radar for the quick weekend getaway where driving for an hour on a Friday evening after work is enough.

Highly recommended and favourite to which we will return.

10/10 and not many places can attract that high a mark in every area.

Stopped over on our way to Edinburgh. It was chosen because of the reviews on this site and we were not disappointed. Excellent site. Toilets one of the best ever. Town was a short walk away. Coop and petrol station close by for refills. Staff friendly and helpful and showed us to the pitch. Brilliant will stay again.

We stayed at this site for one night on our way to tummel bridge, what a cracker of a site, staff are excellent, they cycle round and show you to your pitch, nothing is to much trouble, site well maintained, showers and toilets are the best we have seen in ages absolutely spotless, everything you need is in town short walk away. Great little bakers in the high street and very reasonable.

Will definitely stay here again and would not hesitate to recommend this site to anyone who is looking for a site in this area.

Like a lot of other campers I choose this site as a stop over on my way north even though I have been to Moffat before I wanted to check the site out. The site is well cared for and the toilets are nice and clean but best of all its just a small walk into Moffat which has all you need. One night is not enough here and we will definitely be back

I chose Moffat as a stop over on my way up to The highlands

And so glad I did it's a lovely site and definitely worth staying

Longer. The site is spotlessly clean with nice views and staff that

Are really nice. The town of Moffat is also lovely with plenty of

Shops cafes and pubs to keep you going for a few day's, will

Definitely be retuning when back in Scotland and for a longer stay. There is also some fabulous scenery just a short drive away.

We have stayed on lots of Campsites in the UK but this one is exceptional.

Lovely clean and tidy site in an equally lovely setting. Only a few minutes from the Town.

Staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful.

The Shower Block is brilliant, designed with your every need catered for. It is the best Shower Block by far of any we have used.

Other Campsite Owners would do well to visit this one and 'take a leaf from their book'.

Brilliant.

What a delightful site! It's open and spacious, with views all round of the surrounding hills and trees. The facilities are first rate, with a brand new facilities block which is immaculate and with hot showers. The pitches are well kept, hardstanding with hook ups. Next to the site is the Moffat Mill, a big gift shop and café. And behind that a co-op. So all really convenient. Behind the co-op there is a big park with boating lake. Looked good though we don't have children. Moffat itself is just a 5 mins walk away with pubs, cafes, restaurants and a riverside walk. We also went to Lockerbie, a 15 mins ride away, where they have a good Farmers Market in the Town Hall. All in all a top class site in a great location.
