As newbies to campervanning we greatly appreciated how Colin and Nat helped us with the basics getting setup etc.
The facilities were kept very clean. Some reviews say the toilet/shower block are dated. True, but they were clean and functional which was important to us. We were informed about tokens being needed to be purchased for the showers when we booked, so that wasn't a concern.
Being located near the river we enjoyed walks and also a trip into Arundel from Ford station approx 10mins walk from the site.
The Ship and Anchor pub was friendly and we had a nice evening meal there.
We will use the site again.

Great site - clean and well maintained.
Lots of useful extra information was provided eg times the restaurant would be open, tide times for kayak access.
There is an hourly train service from Ford station, which is very close by. We took the bikes on the train to Amberley to spend the day cycling in that area.
Arundel Saturday market was great.

I love this camp site, it feels very safe and friendly.
It is lovely to be so close to the river and a pub.
I had the whole paddock to myself and some rabbits it was very relaxing.

Quiet, well maintained site.
Helen was friendly and gave a comprehensive tour of the site and facilities.
Facilities were clean and the showers were great.
We didn't eat at the pub as the latest booking was too early for us, so we just had a drink and ordered a takeaway to be delivered.

Great location! Lovely and peaceful, but near to the station, with easy access to near and far towns.
Will definitely return,
Well done to Helen for maintaining a clean and pleasant site.

Helen was a very friendly manager who ran the campsite in a calm and collected manor.
The toilets and showers, although in an older block were always clean and functioning.
The site has a pub next door which does great pies.
The site has great transport links with Ford station 500m away so train line all around, this does mean you can hear the trains a bit, but it wasn't a problem.
It's a peaceful site.

Very pleasant stay. Helen the owner was very attentive and made sure we knew where everything was and how to use the showers. Everything was spotless in the toilets and showers.
Site is kept immaculate and is alongside the Arun river for walks in both directions. We went in the September heatwave so difficult to do too much walking. You buy 50p tokens to operate the shower and hairdryer in toilet block.
Pub on site produced wonderful home cooked meals. As to the negatives, the site is close to a busy railway line and a road. Trains rattled by until 11pm and from 5:30am. I think those in campervans faired better than those of us in tents in terms of noise but to be fair the site management couldn't do anything about that.
There is a small playground for very small children. No ball games allowed. So not recommended for older children. Managed a nice break even though it was very hot in the heatwave.
Field is surrounded by trees for some shelter. Ford station is a few minutes walk away for trips to Bognor, Littlehampton and of course wonderful Arundel with its castle, beautiful gardens and wetland centre.

We had a very pleasant stay at this well organised and superbly clean site.
Our main neighbours were the little rabbits grazing on the well maintained grass areas.
