 Lovely flat campsite. Clean facilities.

Good beer and food in the pub with excellent table service.

Add to that the access to the river for kayaking, and you have a real gem of a site.

Superb.

Really good - clean, tidy and well organised.

The pub was excellent, with good food, excellent service and was well-priced.

The passing trains were audible, but not as disruptive as previous reviewers mentioned, not for an early riser, anyway!

After reading reviews on Trip Advisor I was a little worried but on our arrival we were met by Helen who showed us to our pitch and explained how the facilities work. She was fine and nothing to be worried about.

The site is near Ford train station and there are frequent trains to Arundel, Bognor Regis, Littlehampton and loads of other places. There is certainly noise to be heard from the trains on the campsite but that’s to be expected due to the amount of trains available.

The shower block is dated which is a pity and it would be good if it were modernised but they are very clean which is always very important to us.

We had a lovely stay at this campsite. Helen was a pleasure to speak too. Any issue we had were resolved instantly.

She keeps a well organised site.

It was obvious that many other campers have returned for multiple stays as the site felt like a friendly, happy, chatty community. We enjoyed local walks and the sights.

Only down fall was that we stay in the top paddock which is smoothed in rabbit holes. I tripped and hurt my ankle and our dog spent the whole time with his head down the holes wanting to dig. So went spent a good majority of the time trying to distract him.

Other than that it was nice and quiet and very peaceful.

There's lots of varying reviews for this campsite, but we had a good time. Helen was very welcoming, and the location is really useful if you want to be close to Arundel and trains (6 mins walk to ford station!).

The campsite was clean and well supplied. As a warning, there is some traffic noise, and train noise. It's not so noisy it's like sleeping next to a motorway, but it is there. T

His didn't effect my sleep but might for a sensitive sleeper or someone who just wants to really get away from it all. Helen is also quite particular - I don't know that I'd recommend it as a campsite for families as you can't play ballgames or drive past the barrier post 9pm!

But if you want a chilled quiet campsite, with a good base To get to Arundel, and clean showers for a few nights, then it's fine.

Showers are charged for at 50p, but they run for ten mins on a warm temp. You do have to get a token each morning from

Helen, rather than buying them all in one go. Good value for money.

Quiet, very clean, friendly campsite. Helen runs a tight ship but very comfortable and well run campsite. Just a short walk to ford station or drive to arundel.

The pub is only open a couple of hours a day, but we hear the food is good and the beer is cold.

Lots of regular visitors, some visiting for over 10 years.

Will definitely stay again.

Overall this is a good site but clearly hasn't had much money spent on it recently.

The facilities are tired although all worked fine. Shower cubicles are small but separate hot and cold taps is something I wish more sites would adopt.

Token system for showers gave plenty of time. Hookup pitches are quite small with just logs for separation so not much privacy.

Main annoyance was the frequency and volume of the train noise which starts quite early in the morning and runs into the early hours. Some trees on drive are overhanging and need cutting to avoid catching tops of caravans.

Did have some green grass which is certainly an achievement in this very dry summer. Better signage at entrance would help - comes up quite quickly after the level crossing.

Well kept flower pots certainly brightened up the place.

Good walk along the river into Arundel.

Gate locked at 9:00 seems a bit early, although pub/ marina car park is available.

Fantastic site peaceful and very clean. Yes as some reviewers have said facilities a bit dated but they are fantastically clean.

Great for local train station to go to Arundel, Brighton, Chichester & Littlehampton.

Had a meal in the on site pub landlady was very welcoming and food was great.

Being local to us its a great bolt hole highly recommend.

Helen was very good and gave us a tour upon arrival.
