Great location, yummy pub food, clean hot showers and lovely Helen was helpful.

Ford train station is a 10 minute walk.

Lovely canal walk, access behind the pub and follow the canal for a walk to Arundel.

Helen gave us a warm welcome after a late decision for us to find & book a central location to tour the surrounding area, there’s plenty to see & do…we wanted to visit follies, beaches, walk the river to Arundel, stock up on van supplies, enjoy the great outdoors & most importantly relax!

We spoke to a few locals/returning visitors that either pop by for lunch/drinks in the pub or the campsite

Ford station is an easy 5min walk with direct links to many areas which will make your stay more pleasurable if you like to have a chilled day without needing to worry about driving etc

Very clean site & loved the showers…both Marks that help maintain the site are very knowledgeable & informative

Thanks we’ll definitely be stopping by again

Excellent location just outside of Arundel with easy access to neighbouring towns via the train which is very close to the campsite - definitely worth bringing ear plugs!

Excellent value for money overall, with a very friendly and welcoming campsite manager and the food at the pub is excellent.

This is a perfect base for exploring the local area but just be aware that everything closes down around 9:30pm here.

Perfect for early nights if you can block out the noise from the road/train.

Very friendly campsite and pub staff.

Would use this site again if visiting the area. So reviews mention the train noise, but is far enough away that you rarely notice it, so not a issue.

If you like a walk its midway between Arundel and Littlehampton along the river Arun, so a pleasant hours walk either way.

Beautiful site with good clean facilities.

Helen was lovely and a joy to bump into around the site.

No ball games didn't go down well with my eldest when we first arrived but the park and river walks made up for it.

The pub food was amazing, lovely home cooked food

Lovely site, immaculately clean. Field was well cut with nice areas.

Showers and toilets spotless.

Helen ensures the site is well run and has lots of useful information.

Nice dog walk along the river and 5 mins drive into Arundel.

This is a quiet site with dated but immaculately clean facilities.

£25 pn with hookup. We were welcomed by the owner who gave a full and helpful explanation of everything. There were only two other vans and the rabbits each evening so we were expecting to hear the train noise others have mentioned. However we didn't hear a thing and can only assume that, being sited near reception, we were further away from the bridge than those who have mentioned it.

We felt there should be a motorhome service point on a site this size.

We used the train service a lot and found it excellent although the walk back from the station after dark is along a single track pavement which is unlit. You will need a good torch.

We were very happy with everything until our last night. We had booked dinner in the pub for 7. 00 pm and were being joined by our nephew and his wife. The A27 was closed by an accident of some kind so they were a bit late in arriving. We duly received a phone call at 7. 10 asking if we still required the booking. I apologised and explained the reason for our lateness, saying that we would be but a few minutes. We duly arrived at 7. 20 to be told, bluntly and rudely, "The booking was for 7. 00 - you are too late - I have closed the kitchen!" The landlady was offensively curt. When I asked what we were then supposed to do for dinner she just snapped "You go to another pub down the road - that's what". A thoroughly bad experience which tarnished our stay - a great shame because all the rest was good news. I can but warn others. Not the site's fault but the pub on site was one of the reasons I made this booking.

Excellent campsite, level and well kept. It took me 2 mins to set up as it was so level. Great value and a lovely pub.

Very handy for the railway. However the railway is frequent and noisy but you soon get used to it.

My only criticism is, they need a separate grid for the grey water as it presently has to go down the Elsan which makes lifting the grey carrier heavy to lift over the side.

There are 12 EHU’S and 2 fields on a large site.

Helen the owner is a lovely lady and welcoming. Highly recommended!888
