Excellent Flat, Level site.
Entrance Barrier was a bit of a PITA for my Arthritic wife to open / close each time we passed through.
Helen was "old school" & accommodating Which we found refreshing.
Pub Beer & food Good too. Even had plastic "Glasses" for continued imbibing in the caravan.
TV Reception (with Directional Aerial) Good, As was the EE Phone & 4G (but totally dead in the pub, which was a blessing).
NO Antipathy towards those who Tow with a Van.
Pity we had to leave, As The site was fully booked for the weekend.
Train Noise wasn't an issue, T'was the Bl00dy seagulls on the roof at first light, that woke me. :-(

Had a great camping trip this week at this campsite.
It's spotless, friendly and well located for train trips to the coast or to Arundel castle.
Helen, the owner made us more than welcome and we will be back for sure.
The only downside is it's very near railway lines which can be noisy at night or early morning.
The upside of that is it's a pleasant easy walk to and from the little station when you want a day out by rail.

Booked 3 nights stayed 1, was offered a refund. Very friendly and helpful staff but site is old and tired facilities need an update, less stalls and more space in each.
Toilet and shower units very narrow hard for arthritic person to navigate. Disabled facilities only accessible with a key.
River view not the best again sad and tired.
Meals hearty but basic. Pub only open till 9pm but again friendly and helpful staff.
Field tidy and well kept. Would not return.

Our stay was enhanced by perfect weather. A short walk from Ford station, this campsite offers superb, reasonably-priced access to the district of Arun with it's fantastic medieval history including the cathedral and Arundel castle.
The seafront at Littlehampton is also a great days outing, sailboats, local freshly caught seafood, carnival rides, soft-serve ice-cream - what's not to like?!
All enabled by the friendly, convenient Ship and Anchor Marina Campsite.

This was a return visit to this campsite.
Having family living in Worthing this is only 15/20 minute commute for us to visit.
Have scored 9 out of 10 for site location as only downside is the railway line nearby, otherwise beautiful countryside setting and the campsite is kept immaculate, clean and welcoming.

We visited with our two young grandchildren. A friendly welcome from Helen the site manager. The site's well situated with plenty to do nearby, including Amberley museum, Arundel, walking by the river and West Beach Littlehampton.
Facilities are very basic but clean. Tokens for a shower a little unreasonable in view of of what we paid for the site.
Pub very basic but convenient if you don't mind the quality of the beer or food.
A good site for young children and for kayaking on the (very tidal) river.
Caution needed when pulling out of the site as the exit is close to a bend in the road with fast moving traffic.

Excellent site with very helpful and knowledgeable host, Helen.
Pay 50p for showers but they last 10 mins and are hot.
Well placed for walks to either Arundel or Littlehampton and very close to train station
