Stunning sea view from the campsite.
Was windy the first night and you could certainly feel it but was worth it for the view.
Friendly owner and really good facilities with very hot showers.
Short walk into Robin Hoods Bay and easy access to the Cleveland Way.

The pitches have first class views, with Robin Hoods Bay easily accessible by foot on a track from the site.
The external look of the facilities is quickly dispelled as you find very clean, very spacious toilet and shower areas. Love it!
Like I remember campsites as a kid but with generous facilities, much better than some supposed higher end sites.
Great!

Very friendly people,
Good clean facilities and a joy to wake up and see the view in the mornings
The site has good drainage and slight slope to help keep the ground dry,
Will definitely be going back.

A walkers dream camp site…farmer very kind, facilities of the campsite from pot washing sinks fab and covered, toilets and showers lovely and freezer for ice packs a bonus for us as necessary as just a tent…
Stunning views of the ocean and ravenscar.
The walk down off the farm is a little steep but manageable straight on to the cinder track, would completely recommend and will definitely stay again….
Also if you want to abandon you car the bus network around to Scarborough, Whitby and further are so easy.
If you follow the rules of the camp site you can’t go wrong

Great campsite we have visited twice now and love it here.
There are good facilities and you are just a short walk from Robin Hoods Bay, where you can catch an easy bus to Whitby or even walk there easily on the Coastal Path.
We really like how its not too busy and attendance is well regulated.

Absolutely love Bay Ness. It is a lovely peaceful campsite set in natural rustic surroundings with amazing views of the sea and fabulous dark skies on a clear night.
It's set quite out of the way so don't be surprised at the long drive down the farm track. A great spot if you are a walker.
Very reasonably priced. Easy check in. Pitches are well spaced. It has all the usual camping facilities.
A nice 6.5 miles walk on the coastal path to Whitby. Half a mile walk to Robin Hood's Bay. A few nice pubs for eating and drinking. There are regular buses up and down the coast.

Lovely site in a stunning location overlooking the sea. Very spacious with masses of room for pitches. The site is "off the beaten track" so no road noise at all.
The toilets and showers were outstanding - the showers weren't mere cubicles like at so many sites, but spacious wet rooms which included a loo and washbasin. And they were beautifully appointed too with gorgeous earthy tiles and chunky wood - the best facilities I have seen at any campsite.
I can't recommend enough.

First class in all respects, site is in a lovely location, right on the coast, lovely views, all facilities, showers/toilets are clean and well looked after, bins/ recycling facilities provided.
You can bring your own Fire pit and barbeque if raised off the ground.
The owner and other staff are friendly and good to talk too.
It's a short 20 min walk to Robins Hood bay where there are plenty of good shops and restaurants.
You can walk to Whitby too, though it is a long walk along the coastal path, nice though.
We will certainly return at some point, good to find such a nice site.
Would certainly recommend.
