We recently bought a trailer tent from someone in Birmingham and so booked onto this campsite for one night to try out our new purchase.
The campsite was excellent, very pleasantly designed, lovely friendly staff who showed us to a nice quiet pitch (to save us any embarrassment as it was our first time erecting a trailer tent!).
There are two shower / toilet blocks each with all facilities such as waste disposal, dishwashing, laundry etc etc. All very clean (they close the toilets for 1.2hrs each morning while they do a thorough clean) and inviting.
They have lots of leaflets and useful information available re location of nearest supermarket / restaurant / pubs etc which makes finding your way around very easy.
Unfortunately as we were only there for 1 night we didn't get to see the farm park or water park areas.
I will definitely be going back to this site next season.

This is a great little site and very well placed for getting to, it is just off the M42 & M6 Toll motorways. Anyone approaching from the west may want to take into account a rather short & steep hump back bridge on Bodymoor Heath Road (I avoided it).
This was my first visit to a C&CC site and can say I was very impressed. When first turning up on site, I was shown to my pitch by one of the wardens.
The pitches are all very well spaced out and I never felt room was an issue.
There are two toilet blocks and both were very clean indeed and the showers were the best I have been in (plenty of space).
Prior to visiting Kingsbury, I was concerned about two things, the nose from the motorway and if there was anything to do in the area.
I can honestly say I didn't have an issue with either. The Motorway although very close was never an issue, yes you can hear the noise from the road (but I didn't notice it after a minute).
Regarding things to do, you are next to Kingsbury Waterpark, where there are plenty of watersports, a boating lake, fishing, play park, miniature train ride, cycle paths, children's farm etc, this kept us occupied for the weekend we were there.
If you are there longer, there is Drayton Manor theme park and Tamworth Snowdome.
All in all I will definitely return.

Visited this site for the first time for a long weekend at the beginning of August and I must say how very impressed we were. Friendly welcome, nice level pitches that are kept immaculate, toilet and shower facilities spotlessly clean with plenty of hot water - even during busy periods.
Dishwashing area also kept nice at all times and again, always plenty of hot water. Lovely walks around the lakes nearby. Did find the nightly fees slightly high if you compare with other sites that have more facilities eg.Pool / shop, but this would not stop us returning again as it is a very well kept site.

Fantastic site. The facilities are brilliant, the toilet/shower block was spotlessly clean. The playground got the thumbs up from our two kids (aged 5 and 2)! The site shop had all the basic provisions you would need, but a Tesco Express is 10 mins down the road and a 24hr Asda 15 mins away in Tamworth. Shown to your pitch by the very helpful warden who kindly guides you in and each pitch is spacious with no overcrowding.
Childrens Farm Park round the corner which is moderately priced, Drayton Manor and Thomas Land 10 mins down the road - not so moderately priced but the kids loved it (Book in advance and save yourself a few quid)!
Kingsbury Water Park is beautiful for both walks and bike rides and the kids loved both of the adventure playgrounds and the Echills Train ride which runs right around the park. The close by canal is also worth a stroll along as there is a very pleasant pub to reward yourself with a well earned beverage!
Will definitely be going back and would highly recommend to anybody else.

This was our very first caravan outing. What a great site to pick. Very helpful and friendly staff. Good access to the site. Piches very spacious and well kept. Didn't really notice the noise from nearby M42.
Great local walks along canal and the miles of lakes and nature reserves.
Ideal place for families with all ages with walks, bike rides, Drayton Manor Theme Park 10 minutes away, on site playground, fishing and generally nice area.
We used the Tesco Extra 1/2 mile left out of drayton manor. Also chippy, chinese, indian take-a-way and cash point available there.
There are plenty of other shops, pets at home, sainsburys, macdonalds etc at the retail area outside of Tamworth 10-15 mins away.
Well worth a stay at this site and we will being returning.

This is our second time of staying at this site. The most recent was for 3 nights (having left the worst campsite in France??). The campsite is lovely & well kept. The staff are very friendly & helpful. The facilities (showers / toilets) are immaculate. There is a nice play area and football area for kids. The site has wonderful walks in the surrounding parks with fishing, bike hire, play areas, minature railway & visitor centre. Some of the lakes have water sports etc. During the summer holidays there were different kids activities going on in Kingsbury Water Park. If that isn't enough, then Drayton Manor is a 15 minute drive away. The M42 is close but to be honest we didn't notice the noise. We would recommend this site & will re-visit again in the future!

I am at the site writing this review. I must admit this is probably one of the best sites I have stayed on so far.The staff here are fantastic, the site is very clean and tidy with beautiful flower beds and fantastic shower and toilet blocks. I have read a few reviews of road noise from the M42, I can't say I have been affected by this even with the van windows open at night. I will return again to this wonderful site without hesitation. There are plenty of places to fish, and plenty of wonderful bike tracks to ride without using a road. Water and electrical hook ups are very close by and elsan points also. There is a children's play area on site which has kept the children happy through our stay here. I don't really write reviews but I must give praise where due as this site has impressed me on all levels. Thanks to all concerned.

We booked Kingsbury as our first outing in our motorhome for a weekend away close to home, it wasn't our first choice but thought we'd give it a go.
Upon arrival we were shown to our pitch & left to set up, being some what green to caravanning thus slightly dis-organised I decided to use our wind breaks as a make shift secure pen using the motorhome so we could let our two well behaved boxer dogs roam in a secure environment while we set up inside. Literally seconds after we had done this a lady from the site office came marching over & from all of 50 yards yelled over at the top of her voice instructing us to get our dogs on the lead.
Kingsbury is a medium/large busy family orientated site, facilities were clean, shop poor, location with it's many surrounding lakes & walks was pleasent though road noise was evident at most times.
We've since been to a number of other C & CC sites & loved them. If you want a quiet relaxing down to earth holiday kingsbury is not the place for you.

Stayed at the location for the weekend. A great and well maintained camp site, both tents and caravans mixed. Staff very helpful, easy check in.
Security very good and clean and tidy. Shower and toilet block very clean, fresh and warm.
Situated close to the water park, within walking distance. Good pubs within walking distance.
The only disappointment with the site is the cost. £24.00 per night for a non electric hook up, two adults.
