Stayed 1 night as we had a birthday party on the Sunday.

Found the site very good in all areas as you would expect from a ccc site. We where pitches on the grass area next to our brother in law as requested. We went for a lovely dog walk around the lakes & it was great in the sunshine. In the evening we all went to the local pub the dog & dublet, the food was great & the pub very buzzy.

Will definitely return.

Very convenient for the NEC, layout very good, access from motorways very good. Fish and chip van at the weekend. Can be noisy with the motorway nearby but does lessen during the night.

Fishing available nearby but if you are disabled not sure how you would get there.

Really love this site ! It is very well maintained with both large hardstandings and grass pitches, there are 2 immaculately kept toilet/shower blocks, there's a good kids play area too. The site is situated on the edge of Kingsbury Water Parks which boasts numerous paths around the 30 odd pools & lakes a huge kids adventure park and miniature railway. Being only 5 mins from the M42/M6/M6 toll Junction its ideally located for visiting the West Midlands. There is a very good fish & chip van that visits of a Friday evening and The Dog & Douplet pub is a 15 minute walk along the canal ! All in all great site in a great location ! well recommended

This was our very first trip in a touring caravan and the staff where very helpful and friendly - offering advice and tips when asked.

They also allowed us to stay late for a small donation to the flower fund which was fantastic as we really didn't want to leave.

There is a good playground for the kids and plenty of places for them to cycle around.

The facilities are very clean and were never too busy. We stayed on a hard-standing pitch with hook-up which had plenty of room for our car, van and awning.

The massive plus point for this site was having Kingsbury Park right next door as there is loads for everyone to do - all within easy walking distance of the site.

Will definitely be re-visiting - even though we only live 20 mins away.

Very friendly, family site with a good play area. Our grandchildren made a lot of friends and had plenty of space to play around the site. Lovely helpful wardens who work hard to keep the site well kept and tidy. Clean toilet blocks. Activity centre across the road from the site excellent, the Snowdome in Tamworth well worth a visit with swimming and water slide and inflatables. Good shopping in Tamworth.

We have just returned from our fourth visit to Kingsbury Water Park having had a brilliant week.

This time round was our first time on hard standing in our new to us Folding Camper. Weather was perfect for our first try, and other campers very helpful when it came to sorting out the awning. This place always has a friendly atmosphere where you know there is always a helping hand nearby. The wardens as ever were helpful and friendly, showing us to our pitch and offering help and advice throughout our stay.

Despite the heavy downpours and appalling weather the week before our arrival, the grounds were well drained and certainly the area where we were camped hadn't suffered.

We were located close to the children's play area, initially we were concerned this would prove very noisy late at night as had been the case with our very first visit, this time round it was ideal and the noise gradually stopped between 8pm and 9pm. Our four kids made full use of the play area and it was nice being able to allow them to go off to play, they all made friends with other children and had plenty of fun.

The on site shop is small but adequate for our needs, there are plenty of bigger shops located within a 10 minute car drive if needed. There is also a visiting chip van on a Friday evening. We didn't use this this time but have enjoyed chips after setting up on previous occasions. The local pub which we tried on a previous visit is also lovely with a friendly atmosphere and good food.

Shower and toilet facilities are always perfect here, regularly cleaned and the under floor heating very much appreciated on these chilly nights!

The water park itself is lovely with plenty to keep the kids entertained as well as the lovely walks. We can easily spend the whole day wandering around the Water Park with a nice picnic at one of the play areas. Drayton Manor is also very close by and makes for a nice day out with the kids.

The only downside to the site is the traffic noise at night from the motorways. We noticed it quite a bit this time round, I assume that was due to the lack of wind. Other visits when it's been breezy it was a lot less noticeable.

Overall this is a fantastic site and we will definitely be back again!

We did return and had another lovely stay. Weather was a bit of a dampener though.

It was our first trip of the year and we spent much of the two days re-organising. Kingsbury is relative close to home and we also had a trip to collect more accessories to get packed away. Very pleased with the results though.

This was not our first visit to this site, but was our first outing with our Caravan. The reason for the stay was to visit the NEC Camping show to choose an awning. The site was ideal being only a short drive away. Toilets and showers were kept clean, despite the weather, although through the low season only one block is open. As the name suggests the site is next to Kingsbury Water Park, where there are many walks / cycle paths to enjoy (which we did when we visited in 1999 & 2009!), it is also close to the Birmingham & Fazely Canal if you fancy a walk along the towpath for some Gongoozling. Also handy for Drayton Manor, Thomas Land, and Tamworh. Would thoroughly recommend.

We, my 9yo daughter and I, stayed for a couple of nights at the end of October - very mild and the warmest Hallowe'en on record! We both really enjoyed ourselves. The wardens were all incredibly friendly and helpful; they couldn't do enough for us. The facilities were first rate and some of the best I have come across. Location is ideal with the water park a short walk away.

I would definitely recommend this site and am returning in Feb because we liked it so much.

We stayed here for 2 nights, whilst visiting friends in the area. The location is good and there were far more positives than negatives.

Positives are:

- Very friendly and helpful wardens. After our 2 days, we wanted to go out and get the little one some lunch before setting off on the long journey. The wardens gave us permission to leave our folding camper in the car park, so we didn't have to drag it around with us.

- All flat and good sized pitches.

- Clean shower and toilet blocks.

- Small shop with the essentials in. Meant I didn't have to rush out to get milk for the little one.

Negatives are:

- There was a shower block for families, however you need to pay a deposit of £10 to access the key. I don't have a problem with this, however it wasn't something that was mentioned on the website, or at the time of booking, so we didn't know about it, and therefore did not have £10 on us to get the key. The first we knew about it was in the morning, when my husband took the small person over for a shower and didn't have access, so we had to shower her in the main showers. As we were only there for 2 days, it wasn't then worth getting the key for the following day.

- Where we were pitched, which had the entrance to the site and the road behind us, we did encounter a bit of traffic. Most of the time it wasn't a problem, but every now and then you would get someone who would go past a bit too fast and create a lot of noise.

In our two days on site, we didn't get to see much on the site or in the local area, but what we did see, we did like :)
