Lovely site! Fantastic people who run it! Only one complaint we were right next to the toilet block and I mean right next to it and we didnt feel like we had any privacy. However, that would defo be our only complaint - everything else was better than good! Toilets and showers were immaculate/ welcome was great/ site was great and loads to do nearby

What a great site! Typical of Camping & Caravan Club. Cannot fault this site - well laid out - good play area for the kids - lots to do. The underfloor heating in the shower blocks was very much appreciated in April. Everything spotlessly clean and the whole place just looks immaculate. We will definitely be paying this site a visit again - brilliant for a long weekend with plenty to occupy the kids.

Our first time on this site and we were really impressed, the wardens are very friendly and helpful, the site was lovely and clean and the toilet and shower blocks probably one of the best we have seen with underfloor heating which was welcomed on a frosty weekend. You can walk directly out of the site onto the water park with lots of lakes and wildlife, about 3/4 mile woodland walk will take you to a fantastic adventure playground for the kids or 3/4 mile in the other direction takes you to the visitor centre with gift shop, refreshments, cycle hire and another brilliant play area but for under 8yrs whereas the adventure play area is up to 14yrs. This site is well worth a visit.

Excellent site. Friendly helpful Wardens. Very clean and well maintained. Showers / Toilets / Ample Elec hook ups / Water points. Stayed for a long weekend, Fri to Mon, 3 Adults, 1 child. Great for...... Boating & Fishing also walking/cycling around Kingsbury Water Park. A Lovely thoroughfare to Kingsbury Village, where you will find local shops for all your needs. Nearby...Local Pubs, Restaurants, Take aways, all in the Village of Kingsbury. Adjoining the site is a friendly educational Childrens Farm...

Fantastic clean site. The chemical disposal was the best I have seen. Staff friendly. Showers and toilet block was spotless. Farm wasnt far away - kids loved it. Fishing was good with different types of lakes holding a good stock of fish. Small shop on site selling the basics. Will be returning as its only 20mins away. Top marks and staff work hard to keep grounds spotless

This is a Camping & Caravan club site which is next door to Kingsbury Water Park. There is also a small children's farm next door. The site was very clean and tidy, it was busy during the weekend at August.
The park is ideal if you have young children as you can cycle straight out of the camp site into Kingsbury Water Park, which has miles of smooth flat paths you can cycle around. At the centre of the Water Park is an Adventure Playground.

July 2005 This site is very well kept and attractive. The toilet and washing facilities are excellent and immaculately clean. We stayed for 2 nights and despite the site being full the facilities were perfectly adequate, with no queing. The reception staff are helpful and take care to make sure that tents are far enough apart from other units. Make sure they are happy with how you have pitched before you spend too long pegging out! We had no problems with this but a group of campers close to us were quite frustrated that they couldn't pitch quite as they wished. The childrens playground on the site is well maintained and the small shop is adequately stocked.
The site has direct access to Kingsbury water park which is very pleasant for cycling / walking around and has 2 good play areas and plenty of space. You can hire bikes at the water park if you don't have your own. Having read an earlier review about paying for entry to the water park I am a little confused as we found entry to be free. Perhaps the charge referred to is for fishing? All in all a very good site. We will certainly return in the future for another one or two night stay.

August 2005 Cannot fault this site for cleanliness. the shower blocks were immaculate and the site is well cared for. We stayed for a week and went purely for the fishing but we felt slightly misled as you have to pay for entrance to the water park even though you are on it. Fishing not that good to be honest but worth a visit for the walks.

July 2005 This is the second time we have visited this camp site. It is a very busy and big site with caravans and tents mixed together. The tent pitches are very level and the size of the site means that it is easy for large groups to all be pitched together. The toilet, shower and other facilities are extremely clean and excellent standard. The staff are welcoming and helpful. There is a nice play area children but as the roadway goes all round the site you need to watch small children, having said that there aren't too many cars/vans driving around. There is easy access to the water park nearby, canal, children's farm etc. It is a busy site and the nearby motorway means that earplugs at night are a must as the noise from the road is constant. This site was rather busy for our liking, but good if you want a get together with a number of families.

July 2005 Spent last weekend at this site. It is a beautiful site, very well laid out and the facilities were absolutely immaculate despite the site being very busy. The site staff were very friendly and obliging. Although the M42 is close, dont' worry about it, it doesn't impact. Water Park is ideal for angling, family-safe cycling and walking. There is a pub within walking distance (although we didn't use it) and retail park a short drive away. A gem of a place; very relaxing and quiet. We shall definitely return.
