I have recently spent two nights here. Very clean and the usual high standard of c+c club sites. Staff were very friendly, great place for walking. Nearby pub (dog+doublet) is very nice too especially when the sun is shining. Plenty of fishing in the area and Drayton Manor is only five minutes away.

Had 3 nights here and had a brilliant time. Shower blocks are spotless. Site is very tidy and organised. I only have one complaint. I arrived on the Thursday and there was plenty of room, kids could play anywhere. But Friday night it was so crowded. It just did not feel very private. If there was a free bit of grass somewhere there would be a tent or caravan on it. The motorway is also a bit noisier than expected. That said I would go again.

Our second visit here and even better than the first, apart from being lucky with the fantastic weather this April and low season prices. The kids had a wonderful time playing in the park and cycling around. We were in the predominantly tent section near the play area surrounded by trees, rabbits and limping ducks! The road noise lulled you to sleep and wasn't too obtrusive. The facilities at the water park are great for kids - especially fishing, cycling, adventure playgrounds and it's all right on your door step through a gate in the corner of the camping field. We noticed you could hire adult bikes near the main information centre.Broomey croft farm (just over the hedge)is great for the little ones too. Also I think they have finshed building the miniature train circuit around the park which was a lovely ride last time. Found reception to be friendly and they even let us stay on a few hours later at no cost so that we could enjoy our sunday there, A lovely clean site with a heated toilet block and a surprising little oasis just off the m42!

We use this site regularly as a quick weekend getaway and you really wouldn't think you are so close to Birmingham. Access to the park itself for cycling and walking is great and the site facilities are excellent (heated loo block-good in the colder months!) Some noise from the motorway but not really noticeable especially in a caravan.

This site has everything you would expect from a Camping and Caravanning Club site - clean loos, beautifully landscaped grounds and friendly, efficient staff.
If you want to see water birds Kingsbury Water Park is a great place to come - golden eyes, shovellers, cormorants, grebes, lapwings in abundance. The views from the hides at sunrise and sunset are terrific. There's plenty of walking/ cycling to do around the lakes (and along the canal) and a good visitor centre with cafe.
But if you want peace and quiet, think again - the noise from the M42 never lets up - we'd recommend earplugs to sleep at night!

Excellent site, well worth visit. Arrived in the dark to welcome by the warden. Facilities very clean, and tidy. The club's usual standards. It is very very handy for the NEC, and that is the reason we stayed there, and we were parked outside the NEC in 25 mins, and that was 8.30 in the morning! Would definitely use again.

We have just returned from this excellent Camping and Caravanning club site. The site is open all year round and a delight to see in the Autumn sunshine. We visited during the weekend of Bonfire Night. The site wardens and staff were very friendly and pleasant. The site was lovely and clean, the toilets and showers were spotless and the surrounding area is a joy to see. There is a children's play area on this site. Sutton Coldfield is nearby as is Birmingham and Drayton Manor near Tamworth. We also found the site well stocked with information on places to see and things to do. There is also an Indian takeaway which delivers to the site and a pub, The Dog and Doublet, along the nearby canal path which serves excellent food. Kingsbury Water Park itself is excellent for walkers, with or without dogs. There is a children's farm called Broomey Croft which is open at weekends and half term holidays only. We were not really inconvenienced by the noise of the traffic on a nearby busy road despite some previous comments from earlier reviewers. We hope to return at some other time.

This is a lovely site, the wardens were friendly, welcoming and helpful. All beautifully laid out and they work hard to keep the gardens looking really stunning. It rained very heavily while we were there but the pitches drained really well, just a few puddles here and there.
The utilities blocks were lovely and warm, including the floor which was blissful, and spotlessly clean at all times. There was always hot water and plenty of sinks in the washing-up area, and an industrial-sized washing machine, tumble drier, & iron in the laundry room.
The water-park is next door, and is huge, we only managed to walk round a small part of it. You can buy a map of the water park in the site shop, and you can order newspapers. The shop also stocks basic essentials.
Tamworth with it's Snow Dome, and Birmingham are only a short drive away.
The only downside was the traffic noise from the motorway, but after a while I stopped noticing it, and it won't stop us going back again. Would be lovely in the spring.

Lovely site where the managers couldn't do enough to help. I managed on my own but would not have hesitated to ask one of them with my unit if needed, especially moving it etc. Noise from M42 was constant but in a funny way quite therapeutic! Shower blocks the best I've seen and the heated floors useful just before going to bed after sitting out chatting with a glass of red - to warm your feet!
We don't have a dog but friends with us had and there didn't seem to be any dog-walk which would have been convenient although dogs were welcome. Shop pretty basic but had bread, milk etc.
Will definitely be back - maybe in springtime as Drayton Manor is about 4 mile down the road. Easy to find off M42.

Stayed here for a short break as it is only an hours drive away so handy for a Friday night quick getaway. Really easy to get to, great welcome from site staff and even had the EHU connected for us! All facilities excellent - only moan was we were not told on arrival that newspapers had to be ordered in advance! Easy 10 mins walk to nearest pub on canal towpath - food good and well priced. Kingsbury water park is easy to access and Kingsbury village is just across the churchyard at the top end of the park - cashpoint in local supermarket, newsagents and Indian takeaway that delivers for free to C&CC site! A good weekend lazy break - will definitely go again but out of school holidays when it's a bit quieter.
