June 2004 This is the nearest site to our home, 15 mins drive, so it is one we use quite a lot. We went in june 2004 to try out our new caravan and our son came to us for a flying 1 hour visit. It was a warm sunny day and he was so impressed with the site that he bought a trailer tent within weeks. The site is very well kept and having the water park around you it is a realy relaxing place to be. There is a nice pub 10 mins. walk along the canal towpath that do excellent meals. Also on the plus side, it is only 5 mins. off the M42.
Only one downer.. TAKE PLENTY OF INSECT REPELENT and BITE CREAM. Being so close to the lakes insects are a small problem in the evenings.
Apart from that. *****. it's brill. Our dog harry loves it - his rating 5 woofs.

February 2005 Visit at Feb half term. Site is C+CC and open all year round. Lovely site with A1 facilities - immaculately clean and heated toilet / shower / wash up / laundry block. Small shop on site with the basics (and papers on request). Location great too-lots of walking/ off road cycling from the site. Tent field obviously deserted in Feb and waterlogged, but was nice and flat with quite a few leccy hook ups as well as the nice hardstandings for those of us mad enough to camp in wet, windy, muddy Feb! I'll be there again soon! Nicola

March 2004 We spent a weekend at Kingsbury Water Park. The facilities were very good and were kept very clean despite the wet and muddy weather conditions. The toilets and showers were clean and warm. I liked the underfloor heating in the showers, not only did it keep your toes warm but it kept the floors drier. In the ladies block there were 3 showers, 3 cubicles with wash-basins and plenty of loos. They didn't get too busy even though the site must have been over half full (despite the weather). The washing-up facilites were also clean and warm, with plenty of hot water. There was another amenity block but this wasn't open while we were there. The motorway noise from the M42 was noticable and continued throughout the night, but it didn't seem obstrusive. The wardens seemed friendy and helpful. The site is right next to Kingsbury Water Park and a Children's Farm. We spent a day at Conkers Farm in the National Forest which I can thoroughly recommend, it kept my teenager entertained as well as the younger ones. They have an activity trail (like an assault course) designed for teenagers and adults only, which was definitely a hit.

june2003 Nice enough site, showers and toilets are all brand new. Near to Drayton Manor Park, and next door to kingsbury water park. Now the downside, all through our three night stay we were constantly being told of by the site managers. It was only when the site became busy on the Saturday that they left us alone. Not one for children midweek or adults that get lost and take shortcuts through well worn pathways - you may get told off!!!
