This site is excellent. The pitches are huge, the facilities are well situated and plentiful. Lots of hot water, very clean toilets and showers. Mops and buckets with disinfectant in for campers to clean showers after use. We arrived on Friday evening in the rain, Me in my Conway Crusader, My Son and Grandchildren in his Dandy Regency. We were given pitches together. We were encouraged to pitch with doors facing each other so that we could make the ground between the pitches 'ours' for the weekend.
The children's play area was well situated and of a good size. The wardens and staff were so helpful, they all went the extra mile, this is what makes the Camping & Caravan Club different.
The Grand kids really enjoyed their freedom and had a fantastic time.
The mobile fish & chip shop on Friday was a welcome sight, as we arrived late.
The wardens were cheerful and chatty throughout the stay. Roads throughout the site were wide and in good repair. Children riding bikes were sensible, and even though dogs were on site, we were not disturbed even once by a nuisance bark.
The Water and waste facilities were plenty and well situated. The toilet chemical toilet disposal point is clean and roomy.
The site shop stocked the basics, Milk, Bread, Bacon, Ice creams etc.
I could recommend this site to others as it ticked all of the boxes.
All in all a brilliant well run site that is value for money.
You do get a discount at the Dog & Doublet on food if you mention the CCC, but the food wasn't that good. A better pub 'The Gate' at Nether Whitacre a couple of miles away is a fantastic pub with exceptional food and Ales.

Very impressed with the site and the location. Site was pretty much immaculate and all staff super friendly and helpful. Great proximity to road connections and this led to the only problem for us. Through the night there was the constant 'throughmb' of planes, trains and automobiles. Quite sure earplugs would have sorted it should we go again, which is likely. Kingsbury Water Park next door is a lovely place to walk and cycle. Dog and Doublet served good food and ale in a friendly atmosphere.
Recommended.

We have just returned from a 3 night stay here and had a great time. The site is clean and the wardens helpful. Our children liked the playground although it could do with a few more things on it such as a roundabout etc. The site is on Kingsbury Water Park which we loved as it has great walks and activities for children such as the train and adventure playgrounds. There was a family shower room but for some reason it was locked during our stay so we couldn't use it not sure why. It can be a little noisy as we had a group of young people near our tent one night and they made a lot of noise so our two boys had trouble sleeping that night. They did quieten down at 11pm though. Overall a good site.

Extremely helpful wardens on arrival. Guided us to our pitch courteously and professionally. Quickly booked us in with no hassles. We visited at Easter and found the site to be extremely busy and we felt overcrowded in our area, but it was Easter after all. There also needs to be some ruling as to how caravans/tents are laid out, as units were placed in front of us in such a way as to block the entire 'rear' row of pitches, making it an unnecessarily long trip to get our car out. Some units were placed opposite each other, with windbreaks blocking the area between them as well as having an extra car which we thought was not allowed. Other units placed so close, it made you feel uncomfortable walking to the toilets as you felt you were intruding on their pitch. Had we realised about the pitch proximity issues, we would have booked a jumbo pitch, and will do so in the future if we return to this site. Site was clean, and toilets kept immaculate, no problems there despite the site being busy. Play area was basic, but it's nice to have one and our little one enjoyed it. Plenty of cycling, dog walks and fishing in the surrounding area. Kingsbury water park is a good place for picnics and play parks. Our young son enjoyed the train a lot. We did get some noise from the motorway nearby, which did become intrusive at times. Not too bad in a caravan, but not sure how it would be in a tent. We could certainly here it in our awning. A nice site overall, but expensive for what it is, especially if you have multiple children over 5.

Just returned from 3 nights on this lovely site. Our third visit and will return. Used hard-standing on quiet field away from play area. Well drained site with variety of pitch types. Good clean facilities. No dog walk but next to canal towpath and kingsbury water park with loads of paths. Some road noise in distance from motorway. Nice dog friendly pub called Dog and doublet on canal. Very well kept site suitable for families or quiet break for couples.

We visited during the hot spell at the start of July 2013. A site always seems better when the sun is shining as opposed to pouring rain, but this was a site which impressed me for many reasons beyond the great weather we had.
The site was easy to find with a Sat Nav and entrance to the site is controlled and well managed. There is a small, but useful, shop in the reception where they will also order you a daily newspaper. There are two very well equipped toilet blocks, washing up facilities and laundry. The site is flat and well spaced out. On arrival a warden gave me a brief tour of the site pointing out a range of available pitches for me to choose from. The wardens were seen about site regularly and were friendly and helpful. The site was quiet on an evening and there was no rowdiness. There is a smallish children’s play area on site and no dog walk but there is no need for one due to the site’s location.
Immediately from the site there are a multitude of walks to various parts of Kingsbury Water Park (maps are available from reception). These lead to lakes, play areas and woodlands and on the Sunday of our visit the miniature railway was operating which was good for younger visitors. One lake also has pedalos which the children enjoyed but which were hard work in the blazing sun! It is impossible not to notice the motorway nearby and indeed a number of the walks go under the motorway. Of course it would be better if the motorway wasn’t there, but it is and aside from the background noise in places it didn’t impact us too greatly and certainly not from where we were pitched near the play area. The major irritant to us were lots of horseflies and midges which I know are common around water and which I suspect were so numerous due to the hot spell. I suspect they wil be less of an issue in 'normal' British weather and it is hardly the fault of the site or anything they can control.
We parked the car up on arrival and, were it not for the fact that we needed more fodder for the barbeque, would not have moved it all through our long weekend as there is enough to do and see in the parkland. There are a couple of cafes in the surrounding parkland, the best value seeming to be the one by the farm park entrance and which is also the nearest to the site. There are also things like Drayton Manor which are not too far away if you are staying for a longer period and want to venture a little further afield.
The only real downside I would have with the site is the price. We visited in our “weekend” tent and are C&CC members. If I had been paying supplements for using our family tent and not being a C&CC member then I would have felt overcharged despite the quality of the facilities.
A very good site for a family weekend, especially if you can get the weather to make full use of the adjacent facilities. I would definitely visit again.

We chose this site as we were going to the NEC, As we were new Club members we did not know what to expect, We were pleasantly surprised a lovely welcome from the wardens who showed us were to pitch and l am sure if my husband was not able to reverse the caravan they would have helped us out with that.
The site is very clean and the toilet and shower blocks are a pleasure to use,
This is a site we will be using again,

This is a fantastic campsite right next door to Kingsbury Waterpark with bike rides and walks as well as superb children’s activities. The staff are friendly and helpful, although a bit jobs worth regarding direction of caravans when camping with friends. Toilets are very clean and there is plenty of green space. We will definitely visit this campsite again, particularly as it is fairly local to us.

Visited this site with touring caravan as overnight stop on way to south Devon. Lovely clean site large pitch sizes very flat ground nice friendly staff. Wish had more time to stay and check out the area and the surrounding lakes, only minor problem sat nav wanted me to turn in right before the turning which was a visitors centre, the actual turning was next one on right. Small shop on site and children's playground which I did not use. Would go back and stay longer
