We have just returned from a lovely long weekend at this very relaxing camp site.
As stated before the views are outstanding and the facilities are clean with huge showers (water pressure ok too).
The information shed is useful and the ice cream is delicious.
The site owner came to welcome us and have a chat, very nice gentlemen.
We visited the City Caves in Nottingham very interesting and the Southwell Workhouse is a must very thought provoking.
It is such a peaceful site and met some lovely people too.

Just got back from this lovely site after having a great weekend with friends. This site offers great views as it is at the top of a hill and some lovely walks too. A fifteen minute walk takes you to the nearest pub in Edingley which offers great food and shops are a five minute drive into Farnsfield. The owner was really pleasant to talk to and made us feel very welcome, the site and shower block are very clean although water pressure isn't great but what can you expect when you are at the top of a hill.
A great weekend was had by all and we will be returning.
Thank you.

Just returned from our second visit to this lovely site. It is clean quiet and peaceful. The owner and his son Chris are welcoming and helpful. The facilities are spotless and the ice cream paid for via the honesty box is a nice touch. We have booked again for August, you can't have too much of a good thing. There is now a warden on site as well who is happy to help with siting the caravan. If you want a power shower then this site is not for you. By the owners own admission the water pressure is not great. So what!

One of the best sites I've been to. It may not suit everyone but its peacefulness is just what I like. The toilets and showers are spotless and modern. Its an adults only site so its quiet. The countryside nearby is delightful with numerous walks. Shops and pubs are nearby but you'd have to really drive to them, though I'd probably walk! Its a nice, away from it all sort of place. I'd have nothing negative to say about this site as it's what I go caravanning for. The owners are most welcoming.

Excellent well-run site. I camped for a couple of nights while the Southwell Festival was on and have absolutely no complaints. Welcoming owners and clean well-equipped toilet and shower block. I didn't have time to find out more about the local wildlife, which I know is encouraged by the owners, but I'll be back! The site is also child-free. It's a working farm so better to adhere on the side of safety than have children running free.

My husband and I have just spent a week on this site and it was a fabulous week. We were made to feel very welcome on arrival and shown to our pitch as the rain had washed the allocation number off the board. Nothing was too much trouble. The site is everything you want a campsite to be. The toilets are Very clean with plenty of places to put things when washing and showering. The pressure in the showers was a little poor but as explained in the welcome pack the water has to be pumped uphill but it is hot and free so not a problem to us. The block is close to all the pitches apart from some of the tent (without electric) pitches but then it is only a Short walk. We had a very large pitch with electric. We will certainly be going back again and would recommend it to anyone. We particularly like the adult only part as our daughter has grown up now and we like to be free of young children. The area is lovely with everything you need including a farm shop and pub that does great food in Edingley and essential shops in Farnsfield. A visit to Southwell is a must, especially the Delli where they serve lovely panini's

Lovely site. Great views. Owners are very friendly, they did a walk round each night and had a chat to every one, to see things are ok. After we had pitched they son came round to see if things where good. Toilets are all ways clean tidy. If you go with friends they will put you together. They have blocks if you do not have any. Southwell is a lovely quaint village, lots of parking, garden centre and the minster. Mrs Hardwicke.

Spent a pleasant Easter renewing acquaintance with New Hall Farm - our last visit was in 2006!
The most notable updated feature is the approach road - New Hall Lane has been tarmacked - as has the farm drive, so you no longer risk suspension damage in the arrival process. The owners met us on site as we arrived and pointed us to Pitch No. 1 - directly opposite the facilities block, whilst a kindly neighbour assisted us onto the pitch. The weather had been very wet over the past few weeks, and the ground was quite soft, so we were happy to park the car at the side of the loo block. Everybody else also parked on hard stand or the road to minimise damage to the grass.
The site has great views all round - no matter where you pitch - it's at the top of a hill. There are many lanes and paths available to provide a pleasant walk in the area or down to Edingley village and the Old Reindeer pub! You can also get the bus in the village to go to Southwell, Newark or Mansfield.
The toilet and shower facilities were always clean and were never overwhelmed in use. There are two washing up sinks round the side of the loo block. Chris gave us an information pack on arrival, but there are also tourist leaflets and walks details in an information room at the edge of the site. There were even Easter Eggs here on Sunday- a nice touch.
The owners are working to make a few more hard stands which will be useful additions.
We will certainly not be waiting seven years to return again - indeed we've already sent a booking for August - and hope to make New Hall Farm a regular venue in future years.

A cute small and peaceful campsite. Couple of miles from nearest village Fantastic views across the valley.
On arrival owner gave loads of information of the area.
People with dogs perfect some nice walks close to campsite, dog exercising area.
Toilet and shower block were immaculate. Showers were always hot.
Small laundry room with washer and dryer.
Pot wash area.
Would defo use this campsite again.
Great value.
Plenty of space within each pitch.

Camping here for 5 days,
Site is excellent and all users are well catered for. Excellent customer service throughout. Site is not strict in any way and customers have total choice and freedom of pitches.
Tents are well looked after and given the choice of even motor home and caravan pitches with or without EHU, all a short walk to a brilliant facilities block.
The facilities were 2 toilets and 3 sinks each and 2 massive showers, no wet clothes here. However because situated on a hill the showers suffered from a lack of pressure and they weren't exactly power showers but very hot none the less and no annoying push buttons.
Great views from every pitch and an excellent star and moon experience. Perfect site for a relaxing and stress free time.
