A really quiet peaceful site. At night, it is absolutely silent, except for the occasional owl.
Site is near top of Edingley Hill, with wonderful views. Plenty of trees around. Lots of walks from the site – with leaflets in the information centre, or just ask the owner or warden.
Adults only.
About 25 pitches. Some grass, some hardstanding.
Some with electricity, some without.
Takes motorhomes/caravans/tents.
Very clean toilet block with showers. Currently lots of Covid precautions – sanitiser everywhere.
Outdoor, but covered dish wash area, hot & cold water.
Rubbish in appropriate recycling bins.
Toilet waste point.
Grey water into the hedges.
Two water taps. If you want to fill your tank with a hose, you will need a long hose, as you cant get close up. We arrived with a full tank, and would have topped up with watering can if necessary.
Dogs are allowed – on leads, and provided they don’t yap or bark! And it worked. Having been on too many CMC sites with yappy dogs, this really added to the peace and quiet.
On arrival your pitch number is on a board, so you can pitch up if no one around. (remember this is a working farm) Great welcome from the owner later on. The hardstandings are just big enough for your van, with awning or chairs on adjoining grass.
We will definitely return if visiting the area again.

Cracking little site in the countryside with stunning panoramic views all around. The site wardens were a lovely couple.
The guy helped us to reverse onto the pitch then supplied wooden blocks and made sure our unit was level before he left us. His wife was in charge of cleaning the facility block and what a fantastic job she did too. On a wet and windy weekend the facility block was always spotless, not a blade of grass to be seen.
My only criticism would be the 2 showers in the ladies had poor water pressure making it difficult to rinse my long hair but the water was hot, the cubicles large and roomy and they were spotlessly clean.
You need a car to get around but lots of places to visit in the area including the lovely market town of Newark.
If you want a quiet and peaceful adult only break, in the countryside, with great views at a great price, this is the place to be.

This was our 1st trip away since Lockdown and it was a happy return to this magnificent site.
On arrival the warden was very helpful and pointed us to our well appointed and level hardstanding pitch, with grass to both sides for our use.
We we pleased to discover the toilets were open, albeit with COVID restrictions in place to keep us and others safe. The toilets were kept cleaning throughout our visit.
There are some stunning views, walks and cycling opportunities from this little site, including a viewing hut looking out over Erdingley, the perfect place to watch the sunset with a glass of something.
The site is enhanced by the fact it is adult only. The site benefits from recycling points, large pot wash, chemical, toilet, disposal and plenty of local dog walking.
We would highly recommend this site and will be returning soon.

We have just returned from a 3 night stay at New Hall Farm and once again it was perfect as always. To say it is on a working farm it was very peaceful with no noise.
Lovely views, lots of walks. Toilet facilities extremely clean as usual. Friendly wardens
And plenty of space. It was a bonus to be able to let our dogs off the lead in the designated field so they could have a good run.
Looking forward to a return visit

We can only reiterate everything that has been said previously.
So nice to meet such lovely owners and wardens who genuinely love what they do.
Enjoyed the local walks and cycling in Clumber park.
Wish we had been able to stay longer but will definitely return.

One of our long term favourite sites, adult only, friendly and laid back.
Lovely walks from here but it is on top of a hill so walk home is hard work. The sunsets make up for it though.
Only gripe we have ever had is about the water pressure in the shower, you have to keep running around to get wet properly.
At least two good pubs in walking distance, Southwell is a good walk and you can get a bus back, Minster and workhouse both worth visiting.
