Had a great stay at this lovely site, which has  lots of places to visit in the area. The site is well kept and proud of doing there bit for the environment and the wildlife in the area, which is nice to see.  We stayed on a grass pitch which had electric included in the bargain price of £11 per night. The site owners are the nicest you are likely to meet. The owners helped me repair our awning poles which broke in a freak wind endured during our weeks stay. All the facilities are top notch. My wife and I will definitely be back again.

What a nice find, this site is very well kept and run, the owners are very friendly and give plenty of local infomation. It was a pleasant walk to the town of Southwell (3 miles) through some nice villages. There are 2 local pubs about 20 minutes walk away, we went to the Reindeer pub for a evening meal and when we were ready to go the landlord offered to give us a lift up to the campsite which was most welcome!

Excellent adults only farm site. Situated on the top of a hill, but enclosed by trees and tall hedges. Very friendly and helpful owners. Super clean toilet block with massive shower areas. Hot beef cobs available on saturday nights, very tasty.  Usually use CL sites for weekends, but will certainly be visiting this site many times again.

This is quite an exposed site and on the wet & windy weekend we have just experienced, tent owners were best advised to pitch down the hill which made for a longer walk back to the facilities!

Price £8 for 2 adults in a  4 berth tent plus car (non EHU) per night. Very new facilities well maintained and all included in the price (2 very spacious showers and 3 loos in each side, 3 sinks with soap and hand drier, CDP, washing up area). We got  super service from the owners, extending as far as getting the tractor and lifting some bales behind us to provide a windbreak.

A quiet relaxing site in an area of Notts with lots to see and do - but if you intend to visit Newark Castle do ring and check before that the tours are being run - we turned up to find that it was the guide's day off! We will certainly go back - the on-site hot beef sandwiches are excellent and we still have not seen the castle!

Fabulous ! What a fantastic site set in a beautiful location, very friendly owners, quiet with excellent showers / toilets. Surrounded by stunning views on all sides and a great price. If you want peace, tranquility in company with other like minded adults then this is the place for you. We will return !

Excellent quiet site, good hospitality with wonderful views over countryside, will recommend it to any one, will certainly be going back, it was a last minute decission to go away for the weekend and got the last site,  We recommend you ring up and book, also the beef sandwiches which the owners serve up on a Saturday night.

This is a lovely campsite set on top of a hill with panoramic views in all directions.  The owners are very friendly and come round often to chat and check everything is ok.  Nice size pitches with an overspill area (non-electric) if you want to be away from the majority of campers.

We enjoyed a beef cob - fresh from the farm and ice-cream for Saturday tea.  Also on offer at the sight is a chance to try ploughing and lots of interesting information about the farm and the surrounding nature.

The facilities are very clean and very modern with 2 massive shower rooms and 3 toilets (f) 2 toilets (m).  The village of Edingley is a pleasant 20min walk down through fields and country road and well worth a visit with a CAMRA recommended pub that serves good food.

Part of the appeal for us was the lack of children as it is predominately adult only, so not the kind of site you would want to take a young family to.

What a site. Great value - paid only £10 per night which inc 2 dogs, ehu, campervan, car and 2 adults! and if we wanted to take the awning it would only cost us another £1. The views are to die for, owners are lovely and friendly - even remembered our names! Welcomed onto site and felt at home. Showers were HUGE - only 2 but they were massive. Lovely and clean site the lookout hut is amazing. Cant wait to return.

Oh yeah if you go you must try the BEEF COBS on a saturday night - absolutely gorgeous. Theres also a great pub in Edingley - The Reindeer, lovely beer garden and had a chip buttie never tasted anything like it before!

In over 30 years of camping rarely have we found such a beautifully situated, peaceful, friendly, clean site. Not only are the owners friendly and helpful but so are the campers. There's lots of snippets of light hearted information dotted around the farm. The sunset surrounds the site with a warm glow and the song birds provide the music.

If you are looking for a retreat that is off the beaten track,  lovely views over rolling hills, with an immaculate toilet and shower block where the showers are massive, there's  a friendly welcome, and is adult only and then this is the place for you, but...shhh don't tell everyone.

There are only 25 pitches mostly grass with a few hard standing.

There are many footpaths to walk from the site and the nearest village with a pub is about a mile along one of these paths. It's a short drive to the lovely  market town of  Southwell where there is all you need.  The workhouse is well worth a visit  and there is Southwell races nearby but only on certain dates, also a large garden centre, and a farm shop.  This info is on a welcome pack that you are given when you arrive.

I will certainly be retuning here, we loved it.
