Enjoyed our recent stay at Hemsby Tenting and Touring part of LongBeach Caravan Park in their rally field (open July and August). Although it was just a basic field with portacabin loos they were better than we expected. For hot water and showers we had to walk over to the main Hemsby Tenting field but that was fine. All the toilets were clean and liked the idea of the mop and bucket at the main toilets to clean out the showers after use.
There was plenty of space on the rally field and a lovely quiet site, was enough room for the children to ride their bikes and play ball games.
Preferred the Hemsby site better than the Long Beach Site although you had to walk to the play area, shop and club as he touring area was near the club. 11 year old Daughter didn't use the play area outside the Dolphin bar more for younger children.
We used the Dolphin bar for a meal and the quiz night which was an enjoyable evening, but didn't really see any entertainment geared for the children, although they were given colouring to do during the adult quiz.
Took us about 10 minutes to walk to the arcades so everything was nice and local. Site Shop staff were very friendly. Reception and Warden very friendly and helpful and always keeping the site clean and tidy. Would highly recommend this site and would definitely go back. Need a touch at night if you walk from the Longbeach site to Touring field as have to walk down an unlit road. Only downside on Hemsby is not many places take cards so mostly had to pay by cash. Had a great day out at the Hemsby Maze highly recommend 1 of the places which takes cards. Really lovely beach although didn't get as much time on it as would have liked due to the weather.

On arrival we were directed to the Hemsby Site, which apparently belongs to the same people, which I was slightly disappointed with as I had book the Long Beach Site. However on reflection I would say Hemsby is the better site.
On arrival at the Hemsby site we were greeted by friendly wardens, however this was short lived after a cheap comment by one of the wardens when I paid for my pitch with Scottish money. I thought this was rather unprofessional and not what you expect after driving 6 hours to visit their site.
The site is very nice all grass and the pitches are well spaced out. The toilet block was always clean but you had to hug the wall to get a shower due to the trickle of water that they call a shower.
The site is well placed for the beach and the village of Hemsby. We visited the on site bar, there was a singer on but with only half a dozen people in it lacked atmosphere. The bar staff were very friendly and helpful.
In general it is a nice site, very well looked after, pity about the water pressure in the showers that is the only thing letting this site down. Enjoyed my stay but want be back due to the snide comment when checking in.

Have used this site previously and will use again in the future. On arrival we were made to feel welcome and the warden led us to our pitch. Mainly static vans at Long Beach and not many touring pitches. The pitches are well spaced and level. All of the site is clean and tidy with paved roads and well cut grass. The on site bar has a good selection of drinks and we had several very nice meals. The shop sells the basics but can be a bit expensive.
The main attraction of the site is its location. It is a 5 min stroll into Hemsby with its seaside gift shops. Amusements and a great beach. It is 15 min to Gt Yarmouth and the broads.
The down side is the toilet block. The toilets have old wooden seats fixed to the bowl. The shower block is about 150 mtrs away and the button presses are held in by bits of string to keep the water flowing. The blocks are kept clean but the do need updating.

We first stayed here in June with our new to us tent, we also returned again in July again with our tent then again in August with our new to us caravan. So as you can guess we like it here!
We have also ways been made to fell welcome by Wendy & Craig.
The facilities are spotless and there are more than enough showers and toilets for all.
Nice short work down to the beach where you can let your dogs run and we have 4!
Would we recommend this site YES we would

Just wanted to say what a great weekend we had at Hemsby caravan park - attached to Long Beach - the people who looked after us were so helpful, they couldn't do enough for us and we really appreciated their help with our car and caravan connection. We have already booked again - it was a lovely peaceful site and very clean toilet and shower block.

We have just returned from a lovely few days at the Hemsby Touring and Tent Site. We have stayed at this site on several occasions but this year we noticed that there have been improvements made to the overall look of the site. The pitches are now better designated and the entrance to the site has been extensively tidied and cleared and a flower bed planted up with colourful annuals. I believe this is the work of the new enthusiastic wardens who are also extremely friendly and helpful.

Great little site!
We were a small group of two families with three small children between us and spent the week at the Hemsby Touring And Tent Site (part of Long Beach). Our two units were next to each other and the attendant on site was pretty relaxed about how we positioned them (some sites are strict about this). We were placed in the 'extra' field which had porta-cabin style toilets with cold water only. For hot water, showers and dish-washing facilities we had to pop over to the adjoining field.
This was not a problems at all for us, it meant that we were on the quieter, less busy side of the site, with plenty of space to run around and play outside. We pretty much had the whole field to ourselves, it was perfect!
The facilities were clean, grounds well kept and the staff really friendly and helpful.
You also have use of the Long Beach Facilities such as playpark, bar, shop etc. But we did not take advantage of this so cant comment on them.
Really close to the beach, 5 mins walk, also close to Hemsby where there are more shops and Cafe's and amusements for the kids.
Overall 10/10 for this site, we will definitely be returning here when we decide to come to this part of the country again!

Have been coming to Hembsy for many years. Love the campsite. Toilets etc are always clean. The wardens are very helpfully. Came in may (when new wardens) had been there for a couple of months to see a lot of changes. As you now drive in it looks very lovely and makes you feel welcome. Think the wardens have made a lot of different. Please keep those ones. And see you again in July. Keep up the good work xx

Had a really nice long weekend at the Hemsby Campsite. Everything that we wanted was there and the staff were really friendly and went out of their way to help (including helping with our air bed!). The toilet facilities are great, lots of showers and toilets, never had to queue even though the site was full. Sinks outside to wash dishes and a drinking water tap were an added bonus. There is lots to do in and around, we spent our evenings in the Dolphin bar and a bit further along there is an arcade and more bars (like your typical seaside town). Also went to the stock car racing close by, have the racecourse and the greyhounds nearby too! Despite having a four man tent, it is worth mentioning that the campsites are massive and fit for big tents. Overall a lovely weekend and would happily visit again.

Lovely campsite, very friendly people in the reception, very helpful with enquiries that we had. Gave us an option on where about on the campsite we wanted to be. Toilet and shower block very near by, they were very clean, only bad side was that we were only able to shower between 7 and 8 in the morning and evening. The shop on site is basic and is q little expensive, but its about 10 minute walk to get to other shops. The beach was lovely, hardly any body on there when we went down, quick walk to the beach, walking over the sand dunes was a little challenging especially if wearing flip flops. Would definitely visit again.
