Have just returned from a three night stay and wish we could've stayed for longer
I phoned in advance to say that we would be arriving at about 7. 30pm and were told it wasn't a problem
On arrival we were greeted by a very friendly and helpful lady and shown to a large pitch
The shower/toilet block was spotless, showers are nice and big with plenty of hot water, loads of toilets all with plenty of loo roll, quite a few sinks and electric points for hair dryers etc
The site was very clean and tidy
We would definitely visit again but for longer next time
Only one suggestion to make is that some soap dispensers are needed in toilet block

We have just returned here from a week long stay and ive got to say it deserves 5 stars. The toilet facilities are excellent and so clean. The pitches are a good size but check your pitch size before you u
Pitch your tent. The bar is a nice place to go with plenty of choice of food and varied entertainment not everyday though.
The beach is so lovely and very quite but there is a steep slope to get you to the beach which can be very hard for some people. There are plenty of things going on within 10 mins of the park. All in all a great place to go and the weather was brilliant 26 everyday.

Positive: Good site, good pitches, nice staff, free ice pack freezing service, new toilet block. Great value. Helpful warden. Good pot wash. Good local chinese and pizza shop in village. Local beach near Horsey has seals! and free parking
Negative: showers are not powerful enough but sign says its being worked on. No soap in toilets. Not enough mirrors above sinks in gents. All can be coped with.

Spent 5 days days at the Hemby tent site, with my husband and three kids age, 1, 8 nad 11.
As soon as we arrived the kids found the sand pit which left us to pitch the tent.
The shower block is large and clean, with hot water, not just luke warm. There is an area for washing dishes.
The Dolphin bar is just 5 min walk away, serving good pub food. The is a separte are for the kids with games machines and pool.
Hemsby town is just 10-15 min walk away, with everything you need, shops amusements, indoor swimming pool, pub etc.
The beach is lovely but I would recommend walking into town to access it if you have young children and a buggy, as access from the site in via a large sand dune.
We had a great time and would definitely come back

We have just returned from staying here again after good time last year. We found the staff to not be as friendly as last years staff and we turned up we had our pitch slightly repositioned due to flooding to a nearby one. This year we opted for hook up to make life easier for us and noticed that a few had been covered up so places were limited.
They do have a clean toilet block but even though they fixed the hot water problem you still had the fixed shower head close to the wall and lack of water pressure with the showers which made it difficult to cleaning out sand form your hair.
Our pitch was near the toilet block but we were backed onto the hedges near the sand pit and found that we were pestered by the hornets and flies so I would recommend you ask for a pitch in the centre area when booking. Also if you don't have children then ask to not be near the sand pit
This year there was a lack of evening entertainment in the dolphin bar if you just wanted to go not to far for the night.
The beach is a good climb if you go straight down by the dolphin bar or easy access if you go to the bottom of hemsby.Plenty of arcades in hemsby for the kids and close enough for going to yarmouth or surrounding area.

Me and my husband and two boys have just returned from a weekend at this site and wasn't disappointed at all!
When we arrived we were greeted by very friendly staff.
We were directed to Hemsby touring and tent park just yards from the main part of the site, the site was very clean and well maintained with a very new looking shower block which was lovely and clean inside.
Dishwashing facilities were available as well as hot showers and clean toilets.
Site shop stocks the essentials and the dolphin bar supplies good food and entertainment.
Beach short walk away over some steep dunes which were lots of fun to run down, short walk along beach to Hemsby seafront with lots of things for families to do and see.
All in all a lovely site and will be booking up again very soon taking along some friends too !

This was our third time at this site and again a great visit, the weather held and the showers where nice and warm, only thing is the water pressure but was told this is been worked on, the food at The Dolphin is very good and prices also good.
The walk to the beach is lovely and the beach is nice and not cluttered, kids love this place and if you fancy a bit of madness Hemsby town centre is only a 10-15 minute walk away. All in all a very nice site good owners and cant wait to go back in July.

Just a 10 min walk is hemsby town centre witch has everything you will need. We will definitely be returning very shortly. Excellent

Location: Ideal. 5 mins from the beach, a hill to go down and a hill to go up (Take the grass path up the side rather than the sand, its much less hard work)
5 mins from the town centre and 5 mins from the village centre.
Facilities: OK, Portaloo in our field which was ideal for the night time but the main block was only a few minutes walk away with the washing up station there.
The showers were rubbish, if your overweight or pregnant you have no chance of washing your hair.
Dolphin bar hold entertainment each night, we didn't go so not sure whether its any good.
There's a kids sand pit near the shower block and a play area near the dolphin.
If you don't like camping holidays with lots of screaming kids playing rounders till 10 at night don't go.
If your fine with that its a great family site, the staff are great and we would visit again.

We went to this campsite last weekend and was not impressed at all. Good points - it is near the beach and the beach is lovely. It has a well-stocked shop and bar. There is a Spar shop nearby, which is convenient but expensive and a really good Chinese takeaway. Bad points - The place where we were told to park our campervan was fenced on two sides and had a hedge at the end. It was like parking in somebody's garage. The fences blocked out the sunlight and it was really muddy. The toilet block was clean if a little old-fashioned, but there was no handwash and nothing to dry your hands on.
