We stayed here for 7 nights on the camping and touring field.
We were greeted by 2 lovely wardens they were always available if there was any problems. If they weren't in reception they were cleaning the lovely, clean shower toilet block. Down side water pressure in showers was a little slow but always warm. Pot washing on the other hand was red hot. We walked down into Hemsby a few times easy access to beach and a nice walk. The path over the dunes is quite difficult to say the least.
We called into the Dolphin Bar (while kids were on park) well you have to don't you? The site shop was pretty basic and expensive but there's plenty of supermarkets around. A trip to Great Yarmouth is a must beaches are brill. We used the swimming pool at the nearby Richardson Site only £2 each nothing special but enjoyed the swim and attendants allowed balls etc.
Kids enjoyed having all the space and playing in the sandpit.
This really is a lovely site almost all level pitches and no problems with electric blowing apart from our fuse. Never waited for a shower or a sink.
All in all a lovely place to visit and lovely people looking after it. Thankyou .

What a great time we had this last weekend. Family booked the pitch for us to rock up and park our camper and put up the awning next to an electric hookup. Best campsite we have been to with the flattest pitch as didn't need to use our levelling blocks in the far field! The showers were nice and warm and the toilets really clean (although to get to the showers was a 5min walk from where we pitched it didn't matter). The beach is easily accessible with a 5min walk down past the kids play area and pub (which is reasonably priced for food and drink) and on our last night there was a fireworks display that was fantastic! Could not fault this campsite and will return again!

Just returned from Hemsby Tent and Touring park and as novice campers we found the wardens to be extremely helpful and the site clean and tidy.
The toilet block/ showers in the main field where we pitched were always clean but busy at certain times of the day. The other field appeared to have porta loos but no showers.
The children enjoyed the sandpit and the site itself is child friendly, just a shame that there were no swings or other play equipment although there was a small play area at partner site 5 mins walk away.
The Dolphin Bar/restaurant 5 mins walk from site provides excellent food and a very warm welcome. Dog friendly too, which is a real bonus if you take your dog on holiday. Beach is just a few minutes further on and is a vast sandy area ideal for children and dog walkers alike.
Overall Hemsby campsite is first class site and will definitely be returning.

A really nice site, I decided to go last minute as I have been before and we really enjoyed it. Shower block and toilets are really clean, there is also two fridge freezer for us to use which is great if you don't have all the gear. It is a nice quiet site great for families especially first time campers. Hemsby is about 10 Min walk and there is also a shop, bar and laundrette on site which is about 5 Min walk

We stayed here for a week and wished it was longer. The staff were very friendly and helpful--due to an error on my part we arrived a day early but nothing was too much trouble and they found us a pitch for the night until our booked pitch was free. The small shop was useful if a little expensive. The area is excellent, quite close to the beach and the amusements with a good bus service into great Yarmouth. The only down side is the walk from the amusements if you like to stay out a little late--no street lighting at all and maybe there could be a few more water taps and positioned more accessible, being in a motorhome had to fill tank using a bucket. Overall though a nice friendly site which we will definitely visit again

We stayed on this site for 5 nights in our tent and have got to say its THE friendliest site we have stayed on. The staff are lovely they showed us to our pitch asked if it was ok or did we want to move, very dog friendly as they were welcomed into the site club house we only wished we, d brought our two dogs with us they would have loved it. The toilet and shower blocks were not state of the art but they were kept clean which is the most important thing lovely hot water whatever time you went and they are locked you need a key to use them which stops kids playing in them brilliant. The site itself is quiet, friendly, and close to hemsby amusements but not too close for noise. All in all would I stop here again ? Definitely in a heartbeat, already arranging another holiday here next year with our family son 22, daughter 20 and her boyfriend 21 and of course the dogs. Well done Longbeach you made our few days with you happy and memorable for all the right reasons.

I have stayed at this site several times now. Before the last occasion each time I stayed in my campervan however on this occasion we pitched a tent instead.
The site is adequately equipped with very good condition and clean toilets and showers. There is also a bar that serves food and a small shop for the basics.
The beach is very close as is the little village. The children love playing on the sand dune to get to the beach the short way and playing in the amusement parks in the village. There is also a small fair which is very reasonably priced.
Although the site is basic it is very nice. It is quiet and relaxing
I would recommend this site to anyone

Just had a 3 night break at Hemsby touring and tents. 2 adults plus 2 german shepherds, were met by friendly wardens who showed us to our pitch. The pitch was large and level more than adequate for our needs. The showers and toilet block were immaculate at all times, never having to queue. The dog friendly beach is just a few minutes walk from the main site. The Dolphin bar lets you take dogs inside. This is a site I would definitely recommend and will be going back again. The only downside is that it is only open during the school holidays.

A fantastic value for money site with showers toilets and a pots n pans wash area, all under cover. The Dolphin Bar on site has a variety of good meals drinks and entertainment for all the family.
The wardens are very helpful, take you to your pitch and give you a welcome pack with info on local area and a bin bag for your rubbish.
The site is great for families as the kids all tend to go and play with eachother keeping you free to get set up and sorted out.
We have been here 4 times now and like how its not too far from local shops and pubs and the beach.
Electric hookups are available but as with most sites need to prebook them really to make sure you get one.

Stayed for a week on Hemsby tent & touring site early August and was really looking forward to it after reading previous reviews.
Firstly I must agree that the wardens were good and the cleaners did their best with the toilets and showers but we were amazed at the mess some guests made of the place. On numerous occasions we found toilets in both the male & female soiled and full of waste the showers were left in a state with grass and sand even though a mop and bucket was provided. The second touring field which had temporary WCs set up as we were leaving had to use the facilities on the Hemsby site which meant a decent wait if you timed it wrong.
We had a pitch in a corner which we thought was a bonus until it became apparent that we were at the side of a path which led to corn fields which various dog owners used as an exercise and toilet area for their pets.
Kids also were back and forth in to the corm field resulting in minor damage to my car. Although there was a sign stating no ball games the area in front of our van was used for football and cricket every day.
I am not a camping snob by any means but the behaviour of some of the other campers was deplorable and the language aimed at children shocking, people need to remember that the nylon wall of a tent stops hardly any noise.
Cheap and cheerful site but not for us I'm afraid.
