Nice quiet site, easy to walk to the town and beach and good bus service available to visit further afield.
Shower/toilet facilities good and helpful wardens. Able to walk dog directly from site.
Would visit again. Voted 5 for child friendliness, can't really comment as no children with us.

Finding this site was involved a very narrow lane but with clear signposting. The reception shop and laundry were some distance from the site but the receptionist was very friendly.
Pitches are in two separate areas we took the advice of the receptionist and pitched up on a level grass pitch with EHU. Water was close by.
The field had six generous unmarked pitches. Toilets were dated but clean the showers were further away but again clean. This camping field was part of a larger site with lots of static caravans.
It is an easy walk to the beach and even easier walk to the Dolphin bar which is at the edge of the camping field.
The site has free wifi.

Lovely site well situated to get out and about in the local area. Beautiful miles & miles of beach (with seals regularly popping their heads up!) just 5 min walk away.
Very clean, well organised site with plenty of on-hand helpful staff.
Already booked to return next year

We stayed at the Hemsby Tent and Touring Site which is part of the Long Beach Estate group of sites. The site is located just off of Beach Road on King's Loke which is quite a narrow road but you can easily pass oncoming vehicles if you are both sensible.
On arrival the reception is located in a static caravan as you enter the left field but this is signposted. At the present time the warden comes out to you and shows you to your pitch.
All the pitches are very spacious and you have the option to park either way round on some pitches. The toilet and shower blocks are very modern and clean - during the current pandemic threat they are deep cleaned 3 times a day.
Just down the lane on Long Beach Caravan Park there is a shop, launderette and the Dolphin Bar all offering good value for money. If you carry on walking past the Dolphin Bar this takes you into Hemsby village which offers everything from the usual seaside shops to clothes shops and takeaways to sit down diners. I can particularly recommend the Hollywood Diner that does a lovely breakfast at a reasonable price.
If you fancy a walk you can join the Norfolk Coast Path which takes you through Newport, Scratby, California, Caister and into Great Yarmouth and beyond. There are some lovely views along the way.
Going back to the campsite, if you go out of the campsite along King's Loke and turn right on to Beach Road this leads you to a Co-op store at the end of the road which has a bus stop outside where you can catch a bus which goes to Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft.
Just down the road is Newport which is a smaller village with a few arcades and a diner and chip shop. Most of these were closed for the season due to Covid.
To summarise a great campsite with great facilities.

Have been to longbeach about 4 times over the years with and without grandchildren this time was still as good as the rest.
We were here for 3 weeks and the middle week our daughter and son with one of our grandchildren came for a week and they loved it
The site is clean, friendly ,close to everything you need for entertainment, food and beeches.
Well done longbeach, considering the awful year you made 3 weeks of it a big sigh of relief

The location of the site was good for most areas, and I found the site to be very clean albeit very dated.
However the pitch that we had down past the shower blocks to the right under a tree, which sapped all overs
The car and caravan which attracted wasps like I’ve never seen. It was impossible to sit outside and at one point Unable to get in my car, I did t complain as I wouldn’t of thought I could have moved because much of it was the same to be fair.
Would I stay again ? No probably not - sorry!

Great spot and amenities are clean and lots of toilets.
Shower pressure is okay when not too busy and are on a timer with only one setting which was not great for the warmer weather when you’re wanting a colder shower and been in the sun all day!
Ask for a site not too close to the toilets as the hand dryers are extremely noisy especially at night when it’s quiet outside. The lights are also on all night outside the amenities area which are quite bright.
Location is great, customer service is good and overall would definitely stay again!
Thanks guys!
