Great second visit, this time with my adult kids who have never camped before.
They put the footie on for visitors and the facilities were very clean.
Was given additional EHU wire to use during our stay too. Thanks everyone.

Arrived to sunshine which was a bonus. Again the site was all we expected, been many times. The site was busy, we knew it would be it was half term.
The facilities again were spot on, always clean for the amount of people on site.
At long last the road leading to the pub attached to the site, now has lighting, so much nicer when walking back in the dark, thank you for listening, this makes a huge difference to our holiday.
All in all another fantastic holiday and all things going well we will see you in October. Stay safe

We stayed on the sister site, Hemsby Touring and Tent site, which is just down the Lane from the main site. It’s a 5 minute walk from this site to the main site where the shop, bar and laundrette is, as well as the beach.
On this site, the toilet/shower block facilities were expansive and very clean. The male side alone had around half a dozen cubicle toilets and showers as well as plenty of sinks and urinals. I doubt you will be waiting for a shower to be free even at the sites full capacity! They were also very well cleaned.
Outside the block was a section of washing up sinks and drinking water taps. A coffee vending machine also was located here. The chemical disposal is situated behind which was also in a clean state.
We were greeted by someone who gave us options where to stay, the weather was atrocious so asked if we wanted the original plot we were booked for or a more sheltered spot. We chose the original spot due to its closer proximity to the shower block.
There is a warden on site but we did find when we tried to a sleep, a particularly noisy couple of tents nearby were not asked to keep the noise down. I didn’t want to be a “male Karen” but when it’s near midnight with yound children and you can hear said tents half way across the entire site, I went to see if I could find the warden for them to have a chat and there was nobody about.
Only real niggle and arguably not really the campsites fault in itself so overall good value site, near to the beach with excellent toilet/shower facilities

We used our rooftop tent and awning, great place, lots of space, great couple running it,
Very clean and tidy, except when the seagulls find your rubbish at night, so throw away every night, or you will wake up to a mess, like us!
Lots of toilets and showers.
Bar and playground 300 metres away beach 350metres. Beautiful beaches. Far enough away from main strip of hemsby, no noise except normal campsite noise.
Definitely book again. Thanks

Strange pitches. Randomly placed between holiday chalets (or privately owned properties?).
We were 2 campervans with 4 adults and 2 dogs. With 2 vans on pitch impossible to keep the standard 6m apart.
Showers very hard to use as no shower curtains - everything was wet through by the time you’d finished!
Toilets clean but very tired. And laundry room was 2 sinks and a socket. 🥴

Great weekend
Staff were very helpful always there if you needed help
Toilets kept clean
Shop and bar on the grounds not to far away and a small walk from there you are on the beach and you can walk down into hemsby where the amusements, shops, restaurants are
Very family friendly and not to far from Yarmouth
So all in all plenty to do and not over priced either.

Hemsby Tent and Touring which is part of the Long Beach Estate.
We have stayed here a few times before but this particular occasion was the first weekend after phase one of the restrictions lifting.
The check in was very covid secure with a staff member coming to your vehicle with a mask on and directing you to your pitch. Obviously this was when the toilets and showers had to be closed so we had to take a portaloo, toilet tent and survived on a baby wipe wash for a couple of days.
The site don't charge extra for toilet tents and give you plenty of room between you and other campers. Off the site its a short walk up the road to the main Long Beach park where there is a club (which obviously was closed when we visited) and a shop.
Keep walking and you get into Hemsby itself (You can also access Hemsby without going to the main Long Beach Site by walking the opersite way out of ther campsite). Once in Hemsby there are various gift shops, chip shops and amusement arcades.
There is also a small funfair. It seems that Richardsons Holiday Park now seem to own most of Hemsby as their name appears on quite a few businesses including the site of the old Marias Restaurant which is now a very large car park (it was free when we were there but for how long who knows).
At the other end of Hemsby (back past the entrance road to the park) there is a Co-Op, Chinese Takeaway, Pizza shop and the main bus stop into Great Yarmouth. A great area with plenty to do for all the family.
There is also Newport next door which is a smaller village with a few caravan sites and arcades, clubs etc.
Would strongly recommend this site.

We stayed at Long Beach for 3 nights Although It was not actually Long Beach which was disappointing as we were directed to their other site about a mile or more from Long Beach too far to comfortably walk to the Bar shop beach etc.
Also on the site where we were pitched there was actually only one stand pipe in the middle of the site100 yards or more from our van this served the entire site.
Glad we weren’t there in high season there would have been a long queue.
Very tiresome to keep taking the car all the way over to this only water tap and bringing water back !.
Toilets were very clean but old and tired, a lot of the toilets had constantly running water, all the windows were open and it was freezing cold. Because of the effort of getting water to the van l did take advantage of the showers. The water was slow to get hot and never got really hot, pressure was very low and there was an annoying button, that you had to keep pressing every 1or 2 minutes to keep the water coming, each time adjusting the hot and cold, needless to say it was a quick shower. Which was no doubt the point. !
However the staff were nice, they were very polite and Very helpful and there was always someone in the office /reception which is a bonus at the moment as some sites we have been to there’s not been a human in sight.
We are going back but this time we have chosen a pitch actually on Long Beach near the facilities which has its own electric and water tap so should be a lot better.
It was nice to be able to actually speak to someone to book on the second occasion, when we went into the reception we were able to choose our pitch, they were very helpful and gave us a map of the site and were quite happy
To give us the pitch that we wanted and checked availability for various options. Something that is mostly not available when booking on the internet
Our arrival was delayed and we did not actually get there until after dark the reception staff were not put out in the least and happily took us to our pitch again the staff are lovely.
I think we will give better rating on our second visit
I would not go again if we had to have a pitch miles from the main park with that water situation again.
