This is a lovely site and located just next to a park and river. It is well kept, good pitches and the facilities very clean.
The staff are great (very helpful and altered our booking without any problem because we couldn't make the original one) and it's so good that the site is putting something back into Wick.
The town itself is possibly a little tired so anything that helps is good.
If you need a place to stop over, it's a great little site and you're supporting a good cause.

Short riverside walk into Wick.
Friendly and very helpful site managers.

Nice site close to the river and within an easy walk into the town.
The facilities are a little tired but I know they have plans to update them. It's a clean and tidy site.
Wick itself seems to be looking a little past its best. The Wick Heritage Centre is absolutely fascinating and like a tardis inside, full of history and well worth a visit.
We'd happily stay there again as part of the NC500 tour.
The Tesco on the way out is a good place to stock up again before continuing on your journey.

Very friendly and helpful staff. My daughter loved the play park on site and another by the river.
Nice and quiet and great location for walks along the river.
Easy to walk into town and visit local shops. Lovely walk to the harbour and fantastic heritage museum.
Showers were hot and powerful, although dated and with rather narrow cubicles.
Clean and tidy site. Facilities need updating.

Good pitch in a great community campsite.
Facilities dated but very clean. Hot showers so that goes a long way.
Options for pitches as a few available.
Good info from staff.
Next to a good walk into Wick itself.

We loved this campsite, staff were very friendly,
Lovely view of the river,
Shower was amazing,
Short walk to the town, and very good price for the nights stay.
Would highly recommend and Hooe to visit again x

Well Managed very friendly and welcoming site in a good location with a fantastically powerful shower.

A lovely flat campsite by a beautiful river. A great reception, given a leaflet of guidelines, pitches clearly marked.
Facilities a bit dated but very clean.
A stroll into Wick. Had drink at the main pub, wished we had eaten there, great prices and the food looked good!
Would def stay there again, great to know the community has bought it, and it’s a great asset to the town!

Location was great, nice and quiet,
Very clean facilities and friendly people.
Not too busy either.
Not much going on in Wick though, sadly, eating out options very limited.
