 Loved this site next to the river with wild rabbits bobbing around and a short walk into town.
Felt very safe and secure with nicely spaced out pitches. Welcome at reception very informative.
The facilities/shower block are nearly complete and it will be a 10/10 when it is.
Highly recommended

A lovely campsite, nice welcome on arrival.
Temporary toilet/shower facilities are adequate and the new block looks like it will be very nice when it’s finished.
The town of Wick didn’t have a lot of choice of food as we were visiting on a Tuesday a lot of places were shut.

Friendly site in a lovely location next to the river and easy riverside walk into Wick.
Flat pitches, whilst we understood there was a delay in the new facilities some of the alternatives were lacking - wash up was one unit outside with only cold water - an interesting concept for washing up a frying pan in the rain!
I think once the site is running with the new facilities it will be great but we were disappointed not to be informed of the lacking amenities before we travelled.

Only stayed for one night but wished we could of stayed longer.
We rang for directions and was quickly given directions, as the Road works at the alternative entrance occluded the campsite sign
A cheery welcome from all members of staff.
Only A very short river path walk into wick.
Temporary shower block kept clean and tidy.
Pitches spacious and in a good condition ( we had a grass pitch)

The campsite was pleasant with spacious pitches, lots of rabbits running around at dusk, close to the nearby picturesque river, and only a short walk into the town.
The town itself was a bit run down and not much to see/do. But the campsite itself was nice.
The temporary shower/toilet blocks for men/women were adequate, but the shower cubicles were very small so not easy to get dry/dressed in. But the new shower/toilet block being constructed looks set to be really nice if the exterior is anything to go by.
We had to use the alternative entrance/exit to the site as we were in a fairly large motorhome and it was a bit tricky when leaving as it's quite a steep bank with a turn out onto a busy road, so not ideal for a larger motorhome, but thankfully my husband is a good driver and managed to do it ok.

Lovely site with easy walks in and around Wick.
Facilities were not the best but we were aware of this prior to us going as they are building a new facilities block which looks like it will be fabulous when completed.
We loved that it is a community project and thinking of the environment.
We would stay again

Lovely location 👌 very helpful and friendly staff.
The bonus will be the new services which I'm sure will be open soon but in the meantime they are providing adequate toilets and showers.

A pity the new toilet and shower block not complete, pot wash was poor and another elsan around reception area would be good,

Clean friendly and quiet campsite.
Good location along the river,
Only stayed one night but staff were very friendly and helpful.

You can tell that they are working hard to improve and maintain the campground.
I can't wait to see how the improvements will look next year!
What a great location, right next to the river and walking paths.
A really easy under 10 minute walk into town.
Highly recommend :)
