Excellent site. We received a very warm and friendly welcome.
Relaxed atmosphere with well spaced pitches.
Very reasonable fees.
Would definitely stay again, especially once the new toilet/shower blocks are completed!

This is a lovely site with all the necessary amenities. Staff could not be more helpful from check in to departure.
The location is really lovely just along the river and there are two parks for the children to play in.
The motorhome services are all in places that make it easy for waste and water to be dealt with.
Our pitch (pitch 62) was huge and still a good distance between other campers.
The toilets and showers were clean which is all you can really ask for when travelling.
All in all, very enjoyable stay and would definitely stay again.

Lovely campsite. Staff onside were very helpful.
Booked tent with electric and the staff on site were helpful.
Literally walking distance in to Wick and great base for getting about.
We stayed here and took a day trip to Orkney from John O Groats with the tour from the passenger ferry and the site was only about a 25 minute drive.
Good facilities, daughter loved the play park and would certainly stay here again.

Location is perfect and the site extremely well looked after.
Will of course benefit from the planned facilities upgrade but there's nothing really missing from the place.
Wick is a great Town and perfectly located for JoGs abd Dunnet head

Lovely site, lovely warm powerful showers,
Looking forward to the upgrade of the shower blocks but don't loose the pressure, it's great to have a nice shower.

Having travelled further than we anticipated on our journey up the NC500 and arriving after 6:30 pm without a prior booking the manager could not have been more accommodating and friendly, no stress, no issues.
The site lies next to the river with a well maintained easy walk into the town. Site is very well maintained with grass and hard standing pitches with and without hook up.
The current owners have clearly done a lot of work over the past couple of years with just the toilet block to do which they do have plans for
Highly recommended

Great little community not for profit campsite. We'll kept and looked after. Would highly recommend.
Lost 1 point as shower cubicles a little tight. This to be remedied with a new shower block. Which they are currently raising funds for. Anyone with deep pockets please help.
The town of Wick has so much history and sites to see. I am surprised to see so many campers rushing through.
I guess rushing to do the 500 means missing out on many sites and on what is actually there around you.
