Great campsite, pitches were pretty level for tents/campers grass is well looked after and site is in a great location!
Staff very friendly and helpful !
Toilet block slightly tired but everything in working order but they are in the process of raising money to remodel! Would not stop me going back.
Dim lights on the electric boxes across campsite,
Good for walking about at night with the dog or coming home from the town! Worth the money.
No shop on site but town is 5/10 min walk/cycle,
Would recommend!

Very pleasant and helpful staff, a very good informative welcome, offered choice of pitch plenty of space,
Relatively quiet especially when so close to centre of town, and great facilities, but the future upgrades look like they will be even better.
Motorcycle friendly, offering a hardstanding for bikes.
Will definitely use this site again.

Let’s start with ‘the toilet block is outdated’ !
Other than that, it’s immaculate, well laid out & has plenty of hot water.
The staff are a credit to the site, helpful, cheerful & so so nice.
We had a bit of ‘camper trouble’ but Jimmy (mechanic who works a few shifts on site) was on hand to get us going again, he also helped another couple after their motorhome was deposited on site from the back of a low loader.
The site is a short walk down the river to town with a children's play area close by and a great stop over before heading to JOG on NC500

We stayed at Wick River Campsite while completing NC500. I would happily recommend this campsite.
It’s a lovely well looked after site. There is a toilet/ shower/ dishes block in the middle of the campsite but no laundry facilities at this time, it was explained though that there is plans to replace the current facility by next year with new updated facilities.
Despite the block being old and needing replacing, the showers are powerful and hot though.
The location of the site is great. It’s a short pleasant walk into the centre of Wick.
Down at the harbour we found a great fish & chip shop and then enjoyed a drink at a friendly pub on the walk back.
We found Wick to be a friendly place.

Lovely friendly welcome.
A well maintained flat campsite with WiFi. Just a 10 minute walk into Wick beside a river.
We were a tent with no electric so we could choose where we would like to pitch. Had a peaceful relaxing evening.
Will come again.

What a great little campsite in a fab location.
Very clean and tidy with good facilities.
Great for families and pet owners.
Fantastic that it’s been taken over as a community enterprise.
