This was our 2nd stay at Park House campsite, so we were familiar with the location & facilities.

Fairly basic but clean toilet & shower, which needs coins to operate.

The views and setting are beautiful & very tranquil.

Very narrow entrance for motorhomes so caution advised.

Fab pub within walking distance and fantastic walking.

Would stay again

 Chilled site, friendly owners,

Could maybe do with more toilet/ shower facilities and beware you have to pay for the showers.

Great location, lovely area

Owner very friendly and helpful and views stunning. Very close to the Monsal Trail for great views and walks and 10 mins walk from the Packhorse Inn - I’d recommend booking as it’s a very busy pub.

Site very basic, clean loos/shower. Only one loo and one shower in each of ladies/gents. These are locked at night though - not sure why? But one further loo attached to the house but not so convenient.

Very basic sink for outside washing up with cold water and signs not to remove hot water from toilets - water pours out bottom of sink as no waste pipe so be prepared to get wet feet/trousers! At £25 a night for two of us facilities could be better.

Large arms cadets group doing D of E were double booked on to the site - we were told they were being put in different field but were literally over the wall from us. They were great but obviously a large group of youngsters are not the quietest.

Nice site with good fresh water and elsan disposal access.

Quite basic but that’s what we like and was so so quiet!

Very close to Monsal trail at Monsal head, it is a steep track down to the trail though.

Loads of other walks nearby so a great base for a walking break.

Fantastic pub 10mins walk away (Packhorse Inn)

A picturesque setting, very close to the Monsal trail which we walked.

Facilities were clean, although you'll need coins for the shower.

A small quiet site, would highly recommend for walking the trail.

Pubs within walking distance.

The owners were very friendly and helpful. We would go back.

Had a great stay for 1 night

Perfect location and the stable bar is lovely which is a few minutes walk away or the packhouse Inn which is 10 minutes away that serves great food.

Will definitely be ready

We found the owners very welcoming and helpful.

The campsite has lovely panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.

The facilities are basic but adequate and spotlessly clean. We had a very enjoyable stay.

The campsite is very close to Monsal Head.

The site is clean but no better than a Caravan Club CL.

At £22 for the night, we would not expect to pay for showers.

There was no pitch identification and another camper pitched up within 5 metres from us.

Access is also narrow.
