Lovely relaxed campsite with great views.

2 toilets 2 showers, showers £1.

Reasonable prices and friendly relaxed owners.

One outdoor washing up sink with cold water, suffices but just be prepared!

 Lovely campsite, small and quiet.

Clean toilet/shower facilities.

Lovely couple who owned the site, they were helpful and welcoming.

We'd definitely return in the future

Friendly people around us but WAY over booked!

We were told to pitch up wherever - that’s if you can find somewhere, it took us a while bearing in find there’s over 3 fields.

There were only 3 toilets each - for around 300 people- in the first field but you have to walk so far to get to them.

There are additional toilets and showers at the barn but they are even further walk to get to and again too many people so they were never free.

A lovely quiet site with the camping field wrapped around the (helpful) owner's house.

The shower required a £1 coin for 5 minutes and provided good hot water.

Monsal Head is a 3 minute walk up the road where there's a hotel, a pub and ice cream vans (during the day!) and access to the Monsal Trail and loads of walks/cycle rides.

The pub in Little Longstone, about a mile away, looked nice from the outside.

Amazing spot to stay which was perfect for us.

Very convenient for Bakewell and beautiful scenery close by.

Lovely quiet site.

Coffee and snacks 200 yards up the road.

Beautifully situated campsite. Very clean facilities and lovely hosts.

Very good price.

The main road coming off it has no pavement so do need a car really.

Has a clean shower with good pressure but you need to pay £1 for 5 minutes with a coin

This is a great adults only and dog friendly small site in a great location close the the Monsal trail.

Near to a few pubs with great food. The site is very quiet, has lovely views and basic facilities which are perfectly adequate.

The site is well maintained and the facilities are spotless. It has a few pitches with electric hook up, one ladies and one gents toilet/shower as well as a wc which is 24 hour access. There is also a cold water pot washing area and elsan waste point.

One thing to be aware of is that walking from the site is on a road without pavement for a short distance (5 mins) and the road can be busy which may affect nervous dogs.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will definitely return.

I've stayed here many times in the last few years and it has always been a good stay.

The local walking routes are really good,

The pubs excellent and the campsite is a nice quiet site,

Lovely owners,

A spotless toilet/shower block,

Recommended!

Lovely well kept site in a peaceful location, 5 minute walk to Monsal Head and Trail.

It’s a small site so 1 toilet each for male and female and 1 shower each was enough in May but not sure it will be enough if site was full in summer months.

Peter was very helpful when we arrived helping us to park up.
