Stayed for 2 nights with my friend and our 2 dogs.
Nice, quiet, simple site - clean toilet and shower (needed 20p for use of shower).
Good value for money.
2 mins walk away from the Monsal trail so perfect for dog walkers.

Bloke was very friendly on arrival.
Plenty of space given and not overcrowded even when ‘full’.
Toilets and showers were clean.
All people on site weren’t loud

This is a truly well maintained campsite for adults seeking a bit of peace and tranquillity.
The facilities are kept spotless and although not huge in number they are adequate with respect for other campers.
The location is superb with a fantastic network of footpaths nearby - you only have to brave a short treacherous walk along a busy road to reach plenty choice of direction.
I would definitely recommend - reasonably priced too

Pleasant owner who welcomed us and gave information about local area and walks.
Small campsite with lovely scenery near to Monsall Head and the Monsall Trail. Basic facilities but clean and tidy.
Peaceful site for a relaxing stay - would visit again.

Lovely location. Sadly poor facilities and very poor value for money.
No hot water for washing up. Expensive showers ( only 2 for a large camp-site) and poor toilet facilities ( only 1 open at night).
Generally felt miserly.
Wont be visiting again.

The perfect campsite.
Clean facilities, great hosts, and a lovely area to stay in.
Really great walking spots, with bakewell and Buxton near by too.
Had everything we needed.

Nice little site, with simple but clean facilities.
Hosts were very friendly. 5 mins walk to valley views and decent pub.
Cows got a bit rowdy at night though! :)
