We have just come back from a lovely weekend at Diamond, well what can I say, the staff are extremely friendly and willing to help in anyway they can.
The facilities are extremely good, the cleanliness around the site is fantastic and you can see that the owners take pride in their site.
The bar is fab as well and the food offered is really good value and is lovely.
The only downside is that I feel in the far field where the play park is, is that I found the pitches small especially if you have a large tent as we do, luckily we were with friends so were next to each other, but do feel that if not it would have been a bit too close. I also feel that another small block of toilets and washing up facilities could be put in the far field, as it was quite a trek in the middle of the night.
Apart from that, this is a very family friendly site that I would recommend and do plan to revisit later this year.

Spent two nights. At this lovely site. Well spaced pitches. Toilets, showers immaculate with plenty hot water, loved the fact it was solar heated. Swimming pool lovely, again solar heated, and I was pleasantly surprised at the temperature, much warmer than I expected for an outdoor pool.
I didn't go into bar but it looked ok, food prices good and tasty. Wardens very pleasant and helpful. Was some road and aircraft noise but not too bad. Will be returning next year.

Just got back from a long weekend at diamond caravan &camping site overall experience excellent !
On arrival owners very helpful and polite and first impressions of the site was very clean.
Shower block and toilets kept well maintained and very clean, couldn't fault these at all.
The pitch was great for the tent plenty of room for what was needed.
Added bonus free WIFI which was great!
The bar area was nice and prices reasonable.
The site also offers evening meals at weekends fish& chips ect my hubby tried out the nuggets and chips and enjoyed them with his pint.
Outdoor heated pool was well kept.
We will definitely be returning to diamond camping site again fab weekend

Had a good few days here the site was small and well kept. The staff were friendly and helpful.
The swimming pool was a great entertainer for my daughter.
The only downside we had was that we were near the road so was a bit noisy so if we go back which we will we would request a different pitch.
Overall a great site.
The games room and bar were good and the toilet facilities were clean and also the laundry area was clean.

We have just returned from staying at this campsite,
The showers and toilets were clean with hot water, the washing up area well maintained with a washing machine and dryer, freezer and a microwave available to use,
The pool was clean and well maintained.
The staff had been newly appointed but could not have been more friendly and helpful, although due to the fact they had not been there long they lacked a lot of local knowledge about the area.
I would say the only disappointment was the play area in urgent need of some tender loving care.
Overall we had a great time and would be going back.

Management response: We have ordered a new climbing frame which is being delivered this week (early Sept) and will be installed during the quieter times in the winter or early spring 2013.
More TLC is planned for Diamond Park over the next few months, hopefully to include sorting out the problem with the shower floors and making the bathroom more family friendly.

We first went early July and weather was awful. But the hard standing caravan pitches are fine, no problem. Small site, Sharon and Simon who run the place are really nice and helpful.
Bar was good and well priced, attached to a games room, so really handy. Leave the kids playing Pool, Table Football or on the machines, while adults have a quiet pint.
Toilets and showers were good and clean. The reception doubles as a shop, very small, has essentials, but Teso and Sainsbury are not too far away.
Swimming Pool is nice, but as it's heated by Solar panels, I can't imagine it ever gets hot enough to swim in. We enjoyed it so much (Oxford is a fantastic City) we went back two weeks later, when weather was really good.
This time the site was full, but because it's only small, nowhere was busy, if that makes sense! My son went in the Pool, but froze! It still wasn't warm enough.
Lovely quiet site, with lots of local charming villages (Thrupp springs to mind) and pubs (Rock of Gibralter, Boatsman). If going to Oxford, take the Park & Ride.
There are two really quite local. Water Eaton is nearest, car park is free, and it's £4. 40 return for 2 Adults and 2 kids (oh and a dog!).
All in all, really enjoyed this site.

We have spent several great holidays at this lovely little site. Good well kept and clean facilities. Hardstanding & grass pitches for caravans & motorhomes, some a bit on the tight side for larger units. Tent area also available.
Plenty to see in surrounding area with a park & ride into Oxford which is a must visit if in this area. Plenty of great places to eat. Sturdy's Castle being one of them.
Worth a visit.

Took 2 grandchildren for a long weekend. Nice clean and well kept site. Shop, bar / food and amusement area very good.
Pool was not open as weather was not too good. Childrens play area nothing like pictures in brochure, obviously taken many years ago. Seperate touring and camping areas.
Plenty of room for kids to play. Local pub ( The Rock of Gibralar ) recommended for pub grub.
Not the best of weather but would and have recommended this site.

We really enjoyed our say here throughout
At reception the team are cheerful polite and so helpful
The site is not too large which means our teenagers were free to wander around and make friends
They enjoyed the decent sized heated outdoor pool to the max
The location is ideal for touring this area and being in the middle of the beautiful English countryside was so peaceful and relaxing
There was ample field space for children's ball games
There is a snack bar and pub however we didn't use this
There are lots of friendly pubs around that serve food some are dog friendly too !
The toilet and shower facilities were immaculate and always clean - very impressed !
There is a useful little room with tons of info re things to do and see including eateries and take outs
And just to prove how lovely the people who run it were when we were leaving our car broke down
As we had to wait for mechanic they came and made our vehicle and caravan safe with hazard cones
A lovely little park - give it a try

Really can't fault Diamond Park, except for the weather, this weekend.
Haven't been for a few years but if anything, it's even better now.
Well-run, clean, eco-friendly and with nice friendly folks and a great little bar and takeaway that's family-friendly and really great value.
Toilets and showers in a good state and regularly cleaned and checked.
Pool was a bit chilly in the wind and rain, but looked clean and 'almost' still inviting.
Thoroughly recommended pleasant, small, friendly campsite. Enjoy :-)
