Just spent our first trial weekend camping at this site, we had a fantastic weekend, site was well looked after and facilities spotless. Considering we had 5 children and a dog we had a very relaxing time.
Staff were outstandingly friendly and helpful above and beyond call of duty, to the point of closing the shop when one of our children fell in stinging nettles (they were not in the campsite) and putting witchhazel gel all over him, and offered him the choice of any sweets or chocolate in the shop for being so brave. They also opened the shop after hrs for an emergency margarine and beer buy for me.
We rebooked on departure day to return to the camp in 3 weeks time, all the children can't wait to return, and use the swimming pool.

We have just returned from a 4 night stay at this campsite.
Excellent facilities, and very friendly staff, who couldn't do enough for you.
Full size snooker table and games room for the children, and the bar food is well worth trying (especially the bacon butties).
Outdoor swimming pool (although not open until May), BBQ area in the top camping field next to the children's play area.
Information room with leaflets of local attractions, including a folder with local take-away menu's that deliver to the site.
Can't fault this campsite, well worth a visit.

Just returned from a two night stay at Diamond farm. Phoned up the morning of our departure to check the state of the pitches given the recent weather at this time of year. The staff were friendly and helpful with all our enquiries. The campsite is well signposted from the A34 and easy to get to.
The grounds and pitches appeared well maintained, spacious and nicely arranged for privacy. The toilet/ shower blocks are immaculate. Also had excellent indoor washing up and laundry facilities. (Although the push button taps are a bit of a pain and offer the extra bonus of an unscheduled shower!)
The charges were very reasonable with no extra charge for dogs (max of 2). There is a separate tent field for busier periods.
The outdoor pool and bar were closed (out of season) but looked like they would be lovely in the summer.
We were given written directions to the large supermarket and local takeaways on enquiry, 10-15 min drive away. There is plenty to do nearby with the Cotswolds and Oxford within easy reach of the site.
Some background traffic noise is heard from the nearby main roads but this is not so noticeable later on in the night and did not keep us from a good nights sleep!
On the whole, a very nice site that appears to cater well for tent users (unlike many others!) as well as caravan/campervan users. Will definitely be returning to this site.

Just back from a two night stay here. This park is a short distant from the A34 and easy to get to. We arrived in the evening and received a cheery welcome at the reception. The pitches are of a good size and all serviced by electric. The shower block is lovely, modern and clean and has fitted hairdryers with free use. Although it is not a busy time to visit, the reception still had a small array of bits and pieces for purchase. We had left our water butt at home accidentally and had to ask if they had a spare we could borrow, luckily they did, thank-you. Also worth a quick mention, the security is fantastic, on arrival you are given a small device that automatically opens and closes a five bar gate (£10 deposit), so you just sit in the car and press the button. Great, thumbs up. If around the area again would use again hopefully if its a bit warmer a dip in the lovely swimming pool would be a must.

Tried this as our first camping adventure not too far from home. Site was good, we were squeezed into the play area which was fab for us with wee kids. Pool was a bit cold for our kids being Sept, fab showers soon warmed us up though. Hubby went to pub in eve to watch sport for a bit, so good for him!
All friendly, efficient and well organised. May go back again one day.

Spent another week at this great site. We spent new year here and it was a brilliant new years eve. The club house was packed, but there was no problem, everyone was friendly and all got on really well.
The weather was well below freezing, -9 being the coldest, but no problems. The site was full, so we have booked for next year as we had such a great time. All amenities were spotless as usual and the shop was open everyday, along with the bar.
A massive thank you is deserved by John and Jackie for the entertainment and food that was laid on in the ticket price, which was excellent. They need a holiday now after all their hard work.
I think this has been one of the best weeks in our van that we have had and look forward to next new year.
Keep up the good work and look forward to seeing you soon.

I spent 2 nights here with my husband and 4 children aged 12,12,10&2.It is a lovely site and we would definitely like to come back here next year.
The showers are immaculate with plenty of space. The swimming pool was great and so was the games room.
There is a supermarket 5 minutes drive away and Oxford itself is a lovely place.
The only negative thing I have to say is that the bar on site is closed on a Sunday and Monday which we didn't find out until we got there. We weren't the only people that were disappointed about this.Other than that everything else was great.

Just got back from a two night stay. Arrived in pouring rain but still found the site attractive with that lovely 'feel' to it. Liked the layout of toilets & showers, which were clean, shop was open 9 to 5.30. Assumed that we were respectful campers & therefore didn't feel as if we were being watched over by staff who we found to be helpful and friendly. We were blessed with sunshine over the weekend and would certainly return in the future.

We have been to this site twice in 3 weeks with two sets of friends (we had booked both trips at the same time).Whilst I agree that the site is great with good clean facilities and a great location, I am amazed by the comments about the friendly staff. All the people that we were with thought that the female owner/receptionist was unpleasant, unfriendly and downright rude. With her attitude I am amazed that she has a business left to run! We were there at a Silverstone weekend, they had filled the play area with tents for extra revenue and then had the cheek to complain when the children wanted to play in the actual camping area. We had booked this site as it had a specific play area and no one told us that it wasn't available. A bit of a problem when we had 18 children in our party.
The site is good but the attitude of the owner spoilt our stay, twice!
Ps Try the walk to the local village (Weston on the Green) and eat at the Ben Johnson pub - nice food and beer and lovely village.

Really great campsite in a rural surrounding.
Always clean and tidy toilet/shower-block. Just perfect stands (mix of grass and small gravel) and a very warm welcome of the owner.
Nice atmosphere, clean but not sterile. Very quiet & lovely vicinity, absolutely no road noise. Good access to Oxford (15 km) over the A34 (1 km).
Recommend it.
