On arrival at the site we found we had been allocated an unattractive and muddy site by the previous owners that was totally inadequate for our trailer tent. To their credit, the new owners quickly agreed a different pitch.
However, many of the pitches are quite small and closely packed together and may cause a problem for those with big units or those who prefer to be some distance from their neighbours.
The shop is barely adequate but open all day, which is helpful, we did not try the bar or the food available there. Showers and toilets are clean but small and inclined to flood easily. The floor was also slippy when wet as I found out!
The road next to the site is only a B-road but seems very busy, so some noise should be expected.
The location is excellent, just a few minutes from the A34 and so convenient for exploring.
Not a peaceful site, but a very friendly atmosphere. We would go back.

The location of the site is great - just of the A34 but still with a countryside feel and easy access to what Oxfordshire and the Cotswolds has to offer.
This is probably a very good site in fine weather but not to be recommended for tents when wet!
We were in a party of 4 tents and when we arrived the tent field was already 'squelchy' and muddy. The pitches were a little tight but in pleasant surroundings.
The staff were all very welcoming and helpful and the on-site club house was cosy and offered good beer. At the time of our visit the site was going through a change of ownership and the menu was somewhat restricted as a result. The children in our group enjoyed using the games room during the poor weather.
Biggest disappointment for us was the showers - whilst they were very clean, they are solar powered and with very little sun about they weren't very warm. The same applied to the swimming pool which was freezing!
Further heavy rain was forecast for our second night and we took a decision to leave early based on the condition of the tent field.
We would, however, return in better weather.

Good clean site. Only bad point: pitches 8&9 far too small for larger caravan, could not put annexe on awning, neighbours vehicle right by van and only just enough room for car, so would recommend avoiding these pitches if you use larger van,
Showers nice and hot but water gets all over floor from all showers. Staff very friendly
Play area basic, but safe and away from annoying other people. Swimming pool is heated by solar power, so it was cold to use as the sun was not out. I would re-visit but not on the same pitch

Beautiful site, reception from the owners was really informative, didn't see much of the play park, the shop and on site food and drink are really affordable and delicious. The pool was out of commission but understandable due to getting it prepared for summer months.
The showers and toilets were spacious and clean although the leaking from one shower down to the far end was a little unnerving at first. It seemed to spread everywhere when you started the shower. Mopping each shower cubicle after only using one seemed a bit tedious.
Overall the experience was delightful. We'll most definitely be returning here. Location wise you are central to banbry and oxford. I suggest park and ride from peartree P&R only 10 mins down the A34.

A very pleasant site to visit: stayed 5 nights over Easter.
I liked the hardstanding (gravel)being separated by tall fern bushes. Although we were right next to the road and could hear the traffic (to be expected) it didn't spoil our stay or our night's sleep in any way. I was happy with our pitch. The toilet blocks were clean with beautifully hot water in the showers. Radio 2 on the go all the time in the toilet block - although when Lionel Ritchie was on a show in the evening, I really wished there had been a speaker in the dish-washing room! Information booth on site with loan books and spare caravan magazines.
A sociable site; reception was warm and friendly and helpful. There is an outdoor pool but it was closed - a bit too chilly this time of year!
Playground was spacious, but the apparatus was a bit limited and looking a bit tired - but again at least it was there and the kids kept themselves amused.
Didn't use the bar or pool tables, but they were there, as was food for sale. I smelled a very tempting curry one evening!
Plenty to see and do not too far away (try the railway museum at Quainton nr Waddesdon - special Thomas the Tank Engine days, 2 different steam train rides, and a mini railway ride too. Sir Topham Hatt, the Fat Controller was strolling about all day. Lots to see and do! A good day out especially for the kids.
I'd use the site again (also some good hotels available nearby at Peartree roundabout if you need another guest eg Grandma to stay nearby but not with you in your unit. )
Overall, I'd use the site again if I wanted to be in that area.

We stayed here over Easter. On arrival I was a bit concerned to be pitching so close to the play area but it was fine as the pitch was surrounded with tall hedges.
The toilets/showers were a bit dated but clean, although the drainage was poor as if you were 'downstream' from someone in another cubicle showering whilst you were drying you got wet feet from the water running through your cubicle to the drain!
The play area is nice, and there is a big field for the kids to run about and let off steam.

Just come back from a 2 night stay at this wonderful site. It was only our second ever stay away in our caravan.
All the staff/owners we meet were friendly and helpful. A special mention has to be made to Lewis for helping me set up my awning for the first time, and for his assistance in getting the caravan out of the park. No more said on the matter.
As for the site, its very well laid out, good space for the caravan, awning and car. The toilet block & showers were very well kept. The pool and bar although closed still looked good and we are looking forward to using these when we return in June.
Our daughter had fun playing in the kids play area, and our dog enjoyed its walks in the field next door.
If you are looking for a site in the Oxford area, look no more, just book your stay.

We have just spent four nights at Diamond farm the facilities were to a very good standard the reception staff excellent.
The location is very good for visiting blenheim palace waddseson manor the park and ride for Oxford is only five miles away and at only two pounds per person is very good value.
The on site bar was closed during our visit which was to be expected with very few units staying at this time of the year there is a very good pub one mile up the road called THE BLACKS HEAD the food and welcome are very good plus they also allow dogs.
We will be visiting this well run site again.

Very clean, good sized pitches. Very good clean toilets & showers with ample hot water.
The wardens are very friendly and gave us very useful information about the local area, especially the nearest & best Park & Ride for Oxford ( 10 mins drive from site).
The site with all its facilities open in the summer would be extremely hard to beat.
We will definitely be back here again and again.

From Diamond Reception,
One of the recent reviews mentions that there is a busy road and it is necessary to take your car to the nearest Pub/Restaurant.
I would like to remind all Guests that we do have a full menu and Bar facilities with some prices lower than outlets in the surrounding area!
Taxis are available to the nearby pubs in the area and Diamond reception have all the information required along with details of takeaway restaurants that deliver to our site
Thank you
Diamond Reservations.
