Good location for Oxford/Bicester Village 5 minutes from A34 both train (Islip) and park & ride( Kidlington )close to site for easy access to Oxford. Pitches flat hard standing with some being private edged on 3 sides. Good facilities for families with small outdoor pool, pub and games room open seasonally (all closed during our stay). Likely to be a good one for those with teenagers given facilities. Freeview reception fine toilet block clean good standard maybe a little on the small side if site was full only 3 showers in each for whole site. Staff extremely friendly and helpful.
Oxfordshire hotel golf complex less than 3 minutes from site. Road to site very busy at peak times and not one to walk on so need to drive to nearest pub/restaurant. Tesco Metro in Kidlington for those essentials

My wife and I made a one night stop over on our way home from our holiday in the Isle of Wight and I must say that we both found the staff and management to be very helpful and friendly, the site was well presented, the amenities where very clean and more than adequate. The pitches are of a good size and we will certainly be going back there for a longer stay next time.
The camp site is in an ideal location to use as a base for visiting places like Oxford and the Cotswolds.

This Site makes up for in cheerfulness where it falls down on other areas. We usually stay on C&CC sites and there was a noticeable difference in frequency of cleaning and condition of the toilet block.
While C&CC Sites are cleaned once/day but invariably checked and spruced up late evening as well as early morning, this site was only cleaned once. Toilets too didn't seem to flush too well at times.
On the other side of the coin, this was one of the friendliest and most helpful sites we've been on, again a contrast with C &CC where all too often the managers seem determined to apply new rules from their own book.
Pitches are well spaced out with good hard standing and shelter from the wind. The shop is well stocked if a pity they don't keep papers.
There is a regular, direct bus from Bletchingdon to Oxford where there is no shortage of things to do/see. A well stocked information room has all the brochures you'll need. The pool would be a great asset on a warmer day.
The Chequers at Weston on the Green does excellent food in a welcoming atmosphere, we were less impressed by the Ben Johnson in the same village.

This was my second and very special return to Diamond Caravan Park, to celebrate my 40th Birthday - a weekend of al fresco entertainment for my friends, so I was hoping everything was going to go according to plan!
I really couldn't have wished for a better weekend! From our first contact with the owner John back in January to arrange the booking, everything went brilliantly!
This campsite is very clean, especially the toilets and showers, and there are not many campsites that have the local radio station playing in the toilets keeping you company at 1am! A nice touch!
There is a great size pool, but be warned. ITS FREEZING! The seating area around it allows you to watch your kids and friends turn blue and the bar is very close.
The food that they arranged for my guests was fantastic, along with a Sunday morning Fry-up!
Location, friendliness of the staff, value for money, kids play area, swimming pool, bar and little shop makes this an IDEAL location for a family break, or to celebrate a very special birthday!
Thank you Diamond Park - same time next year??!

Site very well maintained and good size pitches.
Swimming Pool available if you wanted to cool down, which the kids loved. Bar serves very good food, with snooker etc.
Very good location for visiting Oxford and the Cotswold aren't to far away but plenty of local places to visit.
There is also a local park and ride to take you into Oxford. Staff friendly and very helpful.
A few good local pubs as well, The Red Lion at Islip, the Blacks Head in Bletchingdon and the Rock of Gibraltar at Enslow.
Bicester Village is well worth a visit as is Blenheim Palace.

We found the site very clean, the staff are friendly and very helpful We were able to preorder our evening meals. The meals were freshly cooked and very tasty. Very good value for money. The showers are free, but only last a few minutes, so have to keep turning them on. There is only one family bathroom and one private basin, would have been better with more. Our grandaughters' view of the playground is there should be more swings, (there's only two)
And the wooden climbing frame is unstable. The swimming pool is a good size. It is solar heated but even though the weather was really hot the water was very cold. We are going to book again soon.

Response to Review dated June 2011:
We are a family run site and it is our intention to accommodate and provide a friendly service catering for the needs of ALL our guests staying. During the busy season it is not always possible to open the pool or bar on demand due to the complex operation of check outs, check ins, cleaning and grounds maintenance, The guests staying on this occasion picked a duration when the weather was particularly inclement and as a result where unhappy that we had the pool closed whilst doing our chemical checks, unfortunately on Mondays the local supplier of chlorine is closed and so due to poor readings we advised the family that it was not in our interest for health, safety and hygeine reasons to open the pool, and, therefore we would keep the pool closed until we could treat the water accordingly, when we asked the customer if they required a refund for any inconvenience they declined but said that they would use the pool at their own risk with no repercussions to Diamond caravan and camping park, hence the pool was opened within 10 minutes of the families request. The bar is clearly marked that it is only open from 19. 00 hrs at the managements discretion.
We would hope that we have acted responsibly for all our guests requirements within a suitable time frame and maybe the terms and conditions handed to all arrivals had been lost or discarded by mistake, these are also posted around the camp site.

Just returned from this great site. The manager, John, was very friendly and allotted us a pitch on the tent field. The pitches are well marked out and surrounded by hedges and dotted with trees.
The grass is nice and short and the whole site is nicely manicured and looks well looked after. There are blocks for BBQs to stand on, and there are picnic tables you can take to your pitch if you fancy sitting out.
The toilets and showers are lovely and clean, three showers per sex which are free, also a room with a bath!
In the reception is a shop which sells the essentials. There is a well stocked bar and the bar-man, Lewis, is very friendly and will entertain you with his tricks. Lewis is training to run in the local half marathon and is sponsoring the local hospice. Good luck Lewis!
The site has a great swimming pool that is kept nice and clean.
Oxford is close-by and we were advised to use the Park and Ride at Water Eaton. John even has maps printed off with easy to follow directions to the Park and Ride. Free parking, £4. 00 return off peak and buses every 15min. Smashing!
It's easy to fall in love with Oxford and Diamond Park. Thanks to the staff and all Diamond Park has to offer, we WILL be returning many times I'm sure.

We had a very nice stay on this well kept site with very clean toilets and showers, friendly staff and a nice little shop on site. Also has a bar where you can get a meal.
There is a play area for children and a heated outdoor pool.
Located a short distance from Oxford there is a lot to discover, 30 minutes away from Banbury and silverstone, Also on the edge of the cotswolds lovely countryside, We have been to this site a few times now and we think that value for money here is very good.
We will be back.

Made a late booking on Bank Holiday weekend, the owners were really helpful on the phone and also when we arrived.
Had a nice pitch with hedge on 3 sides which helped a bit on shielding us from the noise of children running round. Dont know if there was a play area but there were a lot of children playing in and around the tents and caravans.
Arrived at 8.30 and could still get a cooked meal on site, and very nice it was.
Showers and toilets were clean and tidy and were attended on the Sunday morning as well.
