Just had a lovely 8 days at this site.
Had a very friendly welcome when we arrived, with full details of the park.
The toilet block and showers were spotless.
I would have loved to have gone in the swimming pool, but I wasn't that brave. Lol
The only thing that spoilt the first 2 days was a yapping dog and someone having a fire, but can't blame the owners for that. Would highly recommend.

What a fantastic site. Been there many times over the last few years and no problems at all.
Great family site on the outscirts of Oxford. Great place for fun loving couples and families.
I have to say, I was there the same time as weddyboy when the park was filling up and thought it was great to see all the families making the most of the last week of the school holidays.
Yes the noise did creep up but within a few moments the wardens were there having a word, and shortly after the managers showed their faces and it did slowly start to go quiet.
I do not envy anyone who runs or works on a campsite, from what I can see, you can never please everyone.
The pool was great and free, wifi is also free.
The bar and bar food was real value for money and we will be back again.

A nice small campsite with good facilities.
The restaurant was closed on some of our nights (as usual), then on another day, we had not water (boiler breakdown) and the restaurant closed on another (unsure why).
The small site and no more than 100m or so deep, so all pitches - which vary greatly in size, hence the need to state length when booking - are not far from a very busy, noisy, cut-through road. The road noise starts quite early and continues into the evening, fortunately the nights are quiet.
The washrooms are clean and well fitted and the 'kitchen' has wash-up sinks, washing machines and tumble dry, microwave, toaster and freezer - all very useful if you are camper.
A good location to visit; Woodstock and Blenheim, Bicester, Waddesdon Manor Bletchley Park and Oxford, to name a few. The nearby A34 can be very busy at rush hour.
Nice for a short stay, not sure I would stay longer then 4/5 nights.
The grass pitches look better than the hardstands, not sure if caravan are allowed on the grass, worth enquiring though.

What an outstanding caravan site! The managers Shaun & Michelle are very welcoming and always go the extra mile. The touring wardens Andy, Elaine & Josh also do a great job. Toilet block always spotlessly clean. The grounds are very well kept, outdoor swimming pool is lovely & clean and looks very inviting. Having the bar is an added bonus. Where they serve good food at reasonable prices. Would definitely recommend this site. Shame it is not closer to home. WELL DONE, KEEP UP THE HARD WORK!

First night was great, quiet, great showers and toilets although only three of each. Easy access to towns etc, thought seems a good site. Then on friday loads of people arrived with tents and proceeded to make sure they crammed everything in to their their allotted space. The tent area was rammed. Then the noise started and went on until early hours. Wardens never said a word, noise policy, what noise policy. Asked at reception and was told well it is the last weekend of the holiday, they are all trying to make the most of it. I have been to sites with a lot more people on them than here and never had a noise problem. I obviously have visited at the wrong time but I have no intention of re visiting just in case they come again 'to make the most of it'

Having read the previous reviews and wanting a site near Blenheim Palace we went for this one.
Not disappointed at all, easy access, easy to find, smallish site which meant that the facilities would be adequate even if full.
Talking of facilities, the shower are excellent. Huge shower head with water coming straight down, curtian between shower and drying area, and (surprising how these small things count) quite a slope from the drying area to the drain at the back of the shower. So the drying area stayed dry.
Pitches appeared a bit small but in fairness that was explained to me when we booked.
Good VFM.
The outdoor pool appeared popular although we didn't make use of it.
Lot's to do in local area - would definitely recommend Crocodile World on the way to Cheltenham.
If I have a very minor gripe it would be that in common with these smaller sites I sometimes get the feeling that I am encroaching on a little club of which it may take me sometime to become an accepted member however having said that I would definitely stay there again and am very happy to recommend it.

A well run site at a convenient distance from the M40/A34. Splendid tiled and spotless facilities. The solar heated pool is an added bonus. We used it as an overnight stop at each end of our recent trip but would strongly recommend the site for a longer stay to explore the area.

Just came back from a 4 night stay. It's a lovely clean site. Pitches can be a little on the tight side depending on the pitch. The pool even though supposed to be heated was very cold but once in you get used to it. The bar is adequate and bar food nice as long as you like chips with every thing. We had 2 lovely evenings in there chatting to staff and other campers. Then at 10. 15 this big man (who we later found out was the manager). Came in the bar and shouted at 5 little children. Told them to be quiet. (They were not really loud). He said it was quiet time. He then shouted again at The littlest one and frightened them all. The children were all brought to tears by him. He should have spoken to the parents if he had a problem. Not make them cry.

Too many people in too small a space.
We visited for 3 nights on what seemed to be the busiest weekend of the year. The pitch was surrounded on all 4 sides by a high hedge, with a tree above, so it felt very claustrophobic. Children everywhere (possibly due to the pool?) who understandably were making quite a lot of noise. There was a large tent pitched only 5 feet away from us on the other side of the hedge, who enjoyed making quite a lot of noise until 1. 30am, despite a 'quiet after 11' policy. There is also quite a lot of road noise in peak periods. We found the site to be busy, noisy and unattractive. There is a bar/cafe but it is not an attractive place. The facilities were clean and plentiful, but this did not make up for the frenzy around us. Would not return if there was an alternative.

A one-night stand here got us out of trouble when we were seriously delayed heading for the New Forest. It is close to the A34 road, but you wouldn't know - there was no road noise.
It proved to be a delightful and snug-feeling little site with excellent facilities. It does have a bar, but this is sadly only open at the weekend. There is a gated entrance, which is closed overnight for security.
Kidington is 2/3 miles away and boasts a good selection of shops, as well as a bus service to Oxford.
The only downside is that the reception does not take any credit or debit cards, meaning you have to carry cash - not overly convenient. At £22 a night it is reasonably priced.
As a site 'taster' we were impressed and will consider coming back.
