We have just returned from Diamond Farm and it is FANTASTIC! Being used to big sites this is a lovely small, quiet site, perfect for a family holiday. Although it is situated in the country the A34 is a minutes drive in the car enabling you to access Oxford (5 miles approx) and Sainsburys. The local pub in Bletchingdon is within walking distance along the road and has excellent food although the food on site is extremely reasonable and their home made curry is a must! The bar is just like a little pub, the games room great for the kids and the pool VERY clean.
The toilet and shower block were clean and well presented (the fresh flowers a nice touch) and although I agree that a spirit level could have been used when making the showers, at the end of the day it is only water and your clothes DO NOT get wet (shower curtains in both ladies and gents). Everyone respected the 'please squeegy' request so not a problem. Also if you have shower phobic kids like mine there is a bath available for private use. Washing up area again kept very clean and excellent laundry facilities including iron and board if needed. Small freezer to keep your ice creams in provided as well!
All in all we would definitely visit this site again if in the area and would recommend anyone to go. NB Check out Minster Lovell Hall near Whitney.

We would highly recommend this site, fabulous staff, helpful and friendly, had a great night playing darts and snooker, (a few drinks as well)! Small shop on site which is helpful. Tesco approx 3 miles in Kidlington.
Village pub, friendly and welcoming people. They sell newspapers and serve food all day.
Spotlessly clean everywhere.Showers, toilets, pitches well kept, swimming pool spotless. The food served in the club house was generous and good value.
Wonderful peaceful site, swimming pool a real bonus too. We cant praise this site and its staff highly enough.
We look forward to a return visit!

This was our first time to this site and we were not sure what to expect. We were not disappointed in any way.
The staff were first class the toilets were some of the best we had been to and the the Bar was a nice, relaxing and a friendly place to finish the day off.
Along the road was a pub that was equally friendly and opened from 6am till 11pm, you could get a pint and or breakfast, also the bar food was excellent.
Don't be expecting to walk to shops as there are none near by, Kidlington is about 10mins in the car, but that was ok as the site shop had supplies and the pub down the road ( 2 mins in a car ) had papers and a cash point.
This is the first time that my wife has said that she would return to a site without a doubt !.

We loved this site - the staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool was great. Tyhe only negative is that the water from the showers went everywhere and was cold at times. The pitches were small but there is a small play area for the kids and an area to kick a ball. The bar/food service was lovely and the portions generous. We couldn't hear the road where we were and found the site quiet even though it was full. We will definitely go back.

We stayed here midweek at the end of June 2009. The site was busier and smaller than we expected but we were offered a choice of pitches, and we picked one right at the back, furthest from the toilets/showers, but literally only a minute walk. The toilets and showers were examples of excellence, so what if you had to push the water away? The staff were welcoming and very friendly and efficient. The pool was fantastic (although I didn't have the energy to use it!). A quiet location in the middle of countryside although only a couple of minutes from the main A road - HOWEVER we did experience some road noise in the mornings and evenings, and were unlucky with roadworks right outside the site. We would go back, it's an ideal location for Oxford.

Stayed the first weekend of the school holidays but it wasn't over busy, unfortunatly the bar wasn't open as it didn't open until Easter weekend. Personnally thought that the weekend before would have been better as there were quite a few on site and also one of the reasons I booked for my husband and I. Pool didn't open until May but that was fair enough due to the weather/temperature - I wouldn't have wanted to use it this time of year! Staff very helpful. Shower facilities were very good, only downside was that the floor didn't slope to the drain so the whole floor got wet even outside the cubicle also no shower curtain to protect clothes etc. Well signposted dog walk. Would stay again especially as within an hour from home - not too far to go but far enough to be a break away!

Visited here, adults liked it, teenagers hated it, too small and no where to kick a ball or get away from parents!. Pub nice and friendly, shop lacking, Dog walk a joke though!. Overgrown and inaccessible, especially in shorts and flip flops. Lovely toilets and showers, never saw anyone in them mostly. Was an issue one day, showers didn't work, when I went to tell them in shop, they initially blamed 'kids' running showers for too long, but it turned out to be problem with boiler. Road although a B road very fast and busy one!.

We stayed here for our first trip away in our new caravan as I wanted to meet my mum and sister at Bicester village on Mothers Day. We stayed for 3 nights in the end having only booked for 2. We were on a hard standing pitch, partitioned by hedges from the other pitches. Only issue was had was it was difficult to get the pegs in when we put up our awning, would have preferred a grass pitch I think (but the grass pitches were not yet available). The toilet/shower block was immaculately clean although the showers were a bit of a pain, no shower curtains to separate the water from your cubicle so everything got wet and the floor was a pool of water! There were signs asking you to squeagy the floor after the shower. We stayed from Saturday to Tuesday and by Sunday eve there were just 3 others on the site which was nice.
Would definitely visit this site again as very close to the A34 and Junction 9 of the M40.

As far as facilities etc go, I agree with the other reviews left for Easter 2009 - friendly staff, excellent showers, toilets etc. Good location for visiting Oxford. However, just one word of warning - our caravan is twin axle (24ft long) and we only just fitted on our pitch especially with our awning. Looking around the site ours was one of the larger pitches so make sure you specify when booking if you have a large unit.

Have just spent Easter Weekend at this site. Received a very warm welcome upon arrival with help to position our caravan. Pitches are a good size and positioned in small areas. The toilet / shower blocks are immaculate with the finishing touch of fresh flowers in the ladies.
Small shop which stocks the basics. Our three boys enjoyed playing pool in the games room whilst we enjoyed a drink in the adjoining bar. Good food, bacon butties available in the morning! Would just make one suggestion and that is that they remove the large snooker table in the bar area to allow for more tables and chairs. Will definitely visit again, hopefully when the pool is open.
