We stayed here for 5 days and had a brilliant stay, every thing was top notch, showers, shop, area, nice an quiet, lots of lovely shops in shrewsbury an plenty of pubs, three fishes is good for food.
Only problem I had was on last day as we had to be off at 12am we had packed up and ready for off at 11:20. It was a rare hot day so needed a shower so dashed to showers to be told they are closed for at 11.30 and could not get in. Staff adamant about this, I think they should change cleaning times to at least 1.30pm. But all in all it was an excellent place to stay, one little blip only

Fantastic site great pitch and friendly staff
Nearby park and ride a bonus but last bus is at 6:40pm, but you can book a taxi into the town centre which picks you up from the park gates and costs just £4.30 to town
I would steer clear of the grapes down the bottom of the lane, not nice and totally a shambles. the hungry horse was ok, but best to take the taxi ride or bus into town for a great evening
Try Jacques French restaurant in town and also try the wheatsheaf for lunch and for a great evening, where there is normally a blues or jazz band (wheatsheaf is the 1 in town centre)

What a fabulous site! the staff must be the most helpful and friendliest we have ever come across, nothing is too much trouble and they are so easy to chat to. The toilet facilities are fantastic and free hairdrying facilities as well. The showers are superb as there are so many options for water temperature, power of shower and you don't get the whole of the shower floor wet, great!
The park and ride is on the doorstep as is the co-op and local bus service so there is no need for a car. We were able to use the train to ludlow as the station wascose to the bus station in Ludlow.
This sit ticks all the boxes for adults (we have no children) and the layout of it and upkeep are wonderful. We cannot praise the site enough and certainly will be back. The on site shop has the basics but is great for caravan/motorhome items and a daily paper can be bought here each day.

Stayed at this site several times and always enjoyed staying there, it is a very clean and quiet site and as mentioned before handy for the park and ride.
Showers and toilets are second to none, this will always be a favourite park of our's we have even stayed over the new year 2010 to 2011 and the scenery was spectacular due to the heavy frost on the tree's and grass and the ducks sliding about on the little lake.
Staff very helpful and a shop that can be pricey so it is worth a walk to the co-op or there is a very good chippy just a stroll away next to the co-op.
Only downside is the speed humps are too much of a bump and not rounded enough but this is same in most parks. (owners please note)

I found Oxon Hall to be a very peaceful location. The site was immaculate and the facilities were spotless. The location next to the park and ride couldn't have been handier. Adjacent to the park and ride was a large Coop and a couple of takeaways.
Down the road a couple of pubs could be easily accessed on foot and were family friendly.
The site is not particularly suited for children as the play area is small and there was nowhere for older children to kick a ball I got the impression that children were to be seen but not heard, .
The park was well laid out and most of the pitches well spaced except for ours and that of our neighbour. We had booked a super pitch fir a week yet I felt somewhat shortchanged as our pitch was a funny shape and was squeezed into a corner. We couldn't fit our awning onto it and overlapped onto the grass. When our neighbours arrived we were on top of each other! We were unable to access our awning from the front and had to enter and exit via the side.
Despite the pitch this is a nice well kept park, ideal for those seeking tranquillity although perhaps less suited to families.

Well, the site could be perfect.
Showers hot and spotlessly clean; pitches large enough; Park and Ride to Shrewsbury within walking distance; Co-op at end of the road
But children are barely tolerated rather than encouraged both by clientèle and the staff.
There is a very large adults only section but the play area comprises 2 baby swings, 2 swings and a very old slide. Surely for £34 a night, we can expect better.
In 8 years of caravanning, this is the only site that our children did not want to return to. Such a shame.

Absolutely fantastic site. Just don't hesitate. Easy park and ride into Shrewsbury, rabbits and ducks wandering freely. Truly relaxing. Staff are the best I have personally come across, Pub, supermarket and Chinese nearby. Surely heaven. Even a free cashpoint. Would definitely return. No wonder it's in best of British. Still here as I am writing this. Oh yes and bathrooms are absolutely immaculate. Pitches spacious, shop well stocked, check in well organised, definitely a sense of good organisation which I love, no missed bookings!

Had a lovely weekend here. Staff friendly, Very clean and tidy site, spotless loos and hot showers. Hubby took issue with the mats in the showers which are very sharp on the soles of feet!
Parts of the site are pretty dark (which I think is a good thing) so a torch might be beneficial.
As previously said - next to park and ride - great. Can recommend the Chinese takeaway at the end of the drive. Excellent! Pub a few mins walk away. Pretty average place but fine to pop for a drink and carvery at a reasonable £10. 99 for 2.
A pricey site, good but pricey. £4. 50 per night for an awning and per dog. If there is one change I would suggest the site make it is to offer their Wi-Fi free to customers who have already paid a fair amount to stay there. £5. 00 for 5 hours is ridiculous

Excellent, friendly and helpful staff, and very high standard of cleanliness in shower and toilet block.
We stayed in the serviced pitches for adults only and couldn't fault them. Roomy pitches, well laid out and well kept park.
Quiet and tranquil, there were rabbits playing on the lawns right outside the pitch!
Close to park and ride to Shrewsbury (£1.60 return, but the people on the next pitch said it's a lovely walk into the town along the river Severn which takes only 45 mins), supermarket, take away and pub.
Will definitely return, Shrewsbury is a quaint town with lots of history and some great pubs and places to eat.

Just returned back from a week at Oxon hall. Staff were very welcoming when arrived and helpful throughout our stay. Toilets were immaculate, site was very clean and tidy. Was on a fully serviced pitch, however need to have a long waste pipe on some of the pitches due to drainage being greater than 5m away. Site was busier at weekends but very quiet during the week. Good security, has barriers and cameras. Good lighting throughout site. Shops close by, Large Co op, chemist and takeaways at the entrance to the site. Park and ride also at the entrance which runs every 10-15 mins into town and only cost £1. 60. Cost reduction due to being cc members and also had one night free from MMM. We would definitely stop here again but not in height of season when cost is very expensive.
