Very organised site - loos spotless and nice to have actual shower cubicles not just room with shower. Also liked curtained area for private washing.
Surprised there was no recycling in use as there were plenty of bins that could be labelled paper, cans, etc etc
Nearby pub fine for food if a little soul less
Shop, takeaway very handy.
Park & ride given as an advantage but it stops at 6 so no good for drink in town. A standard bus timetable might be handy if its any better.
Taxi into town only about £4 so got round that fairly easily
I liked the rabbits!

Arrived to this site Wednesday, Staff were brilliant, They explained where everything was and how it worked. The pitch was hard standing and spotless. The facility's were great.
Toilets and shower's, and hand bowl's were sparkling. Entrance to site was well manicured, and CO-OP store/fish shop at site entrance.
Only £1. 60 return from park&ride in to Shrewsbury, bus every 10 min's. Iron Bridge nearby, great day or two to spend there, Acton Scott Farm 20 min's away.
First bus stop in Shrewsbury off park & ride super little cafe as you get off bus, all home cooked food, opposite M&S.
The staff on this site can't do enough for you. Can't wait to go again and to try their other site's.

A quiet, nicely landscaped site on the edge of Shrewsbury and this prime location is perhaps reflected in high pitch fees here, that said the toilet/shower block was immaculate as was the rest of the site.
Ok they didn't smile much at the reception but was efficient and no problem when we wanted to change pitches from the one we didn't like.
I also noticed the unusual water point connections on the super pitches so be prepared! Thought the shop was nicely stocked with camping requirements, no food there as there is a supermarket and take-away down the road.
Now for us senior citizens it should be noted that the adjacent P&R to Shrewsbury is no longer free as the age concession has been withdrawn however by crossing the road to the left of the Coop supermarket and walking 50 yds.
Down an alleyway there is a bus stop where a 15 min.
Arriva bus service(No 1) to the town stops and is still free, and runs till 9 pm. later than the P&R anyway.

We have a folding camper and visited this site for 3 nights to end our holiday (2 adults and 2 children, both aged 11)
Upon arrival we were faced by a very stern lady who clearly was not a people person
We were then given our pitch with a list of do's and don't's, for instance you must park your car on the left, you must face your camper a certain way, they even have printed and laminated sketch of a pitch and the way to pitch,
Yes the facilities are spotlessly clean and the shop has plenty of bits and bobs, the location is great with the park and ride just at the entrance, but overall a very dull and boring site with no atmosphere, we will not be returning.

Excellent site. We had the best weather which helped, site was full.
Toilets/showers clean and never had to queue
Excellent staff and shop.
The kids loved it especially my youngest (4) non stop football. Thanks to the other families with kids, especially the 2 lads / bros from stoke who all joined in the fun.
Site is a tranquil setting with an abundance of wildlife.
Shops nearby and a shop and ride.
Worth a stop

We stayed at Oxon Hall for two nights courtesy of the local Swift dealer to “test out” our new Charisma. Even though we were only 12 miles from home we would definitely stay here again even if just to get away for a couple of nights.
All the facilities you would want; camping shop on site, super market, two takeaways and a good family pub a couple of minutes walk away.
The Ladies in reception were always cheerful and helpful; facilities top-notch.
Most useful; for the less energetic the park and ride for Shrewsbury is right next door.

What a beautiful site, neat, tidy, peaceful and clean.
Everything about this site is perfect for us and our dog Mollie. We love nature and and with the ducks waddling everywhere, the rabbits running around, birds singing and when we went last, frogs in the early morning, we loved every minute of it.
It is such a quiet site, especially if, like us, you choose to stay in the adult only area. In the evenings it was just nice to sit outside or in the awning and read or have a glass of wine and just chill out and recharge your batteries.
The toilet block is very clean and the showers and toilets are plentiful so we have never encountered any queues for them. There are also wash basins with curtains to pull across for private morning washing.
There is a beautiful big duck pond and a very good shop which is well stocked.
The staff on the site are very helpful and friendly.
We have stayed here twice and have visited friends there for the day too and every time the welcome was warm and the site perfect and clean.
We shall definitely be back for a third visit before the end of the year.

I agree with every positive comment about this site. The staff are incredibly helpful; the shop is open all day & has all that most visitors would need by way of camping requisites (plus there is a supermarket at the end of the access lane).
One very small word of advice for dog owners - the underlying soil seems to be a very heavy, clinging, clay. Thus, if you have a dog & visit the dog-walking area after any amount of rain, be prepared for your shoes or boots to be caked (a pair of wellies would be the ideal footwear).

We have now stayed at all of the 3 sites owned by Morris Leisure and they are all of the same high standard.
We stayed on a super pitch. The booking in was made very easy and we were shown on the map where our pitch was.
The shop is very well stocked with all that you need- camping wise.
The toilets and showers are very clean and modern.
At the entrance to the site there is a Co-op also a Chinese take away and a chip shop. The Chinese was very good.
We walked into Shrewsbury which was an easy 2 mile stroll. Very pleasant. The closest pub was very nice and the food appeared nice, though we did not eat there. There is also a Hungry Horse pub on the way into town and also a real ale pub on the way.
All in all a pleasant trip and a site we will visit again.

We have visited this site many times and will continue to do so, its very well placed with oxon park and ride at the end of the drive also a great Chinese takeaway and co op, a short walk over the road is The Grapes where a nice carvery can be had
The park is very clean and well kept.
There are though we find a few 'niggles' you cant book for one night - you have to phone on the day to check for a pitch, you usually get pushed towards a super pitch ! the staff can be a little on the 'sturn' side, all in all though its worth a visit
