The staff on site are wonderful, professional and very knowledgeable.

The site is perfect as a park and ride is next door making it very easy to access the town.

A five minute walk brings you to many facilities such as fish and chips, Chinese and supermarket we will certainty be back

Excellent site good amenities close to shops and great park and ride had fun watching rabbits on site.

We liked the adults only area with decent sized pitches and security gates

Stayed again recently at Oxon Hall as it’s a great location for Shrewsbury, Let’s Rock Concert.

The site is immaculate and the staff are really friendly and professional

I have the last of 6 Morris Leisure parks to try in September, but will definitely stay at Oxon again

What we liked: well maintained campsite, very clean, quiete and with big pitches.

The staff were friendly and very helpful. On departure, I broke the security cable of the caravan and they replaced it with a new one "on the house" !

What we didn't like: we were given a pitch without asking if we preferred a water connection, so we had to walk quite a long distance to fill up our water tank. At this price level, we would have expected all pitches having a water tap near by.

The Oxon touring park isn't a small campsite, so a second sanitary building would have been an asset. One could use the other block during cleaning closure time as well.

Not the fault of the campsite, but note the time table of the praised "park and ride". The last bus from town leaves at 5. 30 p. M. Much to early. As we like to go into the town for dinner, it was useless for us.

This site lives up to Morris Leisure's usual high standard but is most notable for it's location.

At the end of the drive there is a small shopping area with a Co-op, pharmacy, fish and chip shop and Greggs behind which is the park and ride into Shrewsbury.

A five minute walk away is the excellent Ego restaurant chain at The Grapes pub.

For the more active it's a 12k return walk walk into Shrewsbury part of which is along the stunning Severn River Path, look out for the footpath in the corner on the left as you come out of the drive this cuts a corner off the walk and avoids the road.

This site was chosen after watching various YouTube videos as that's now one of our go to resources when choosing our next holiday. It was as lovely as we'd been led to believe. Immaculately manicured, clean and tidy.

On arrival, we were checked in with ease by friendly staff. We had picked a premium RV serviced pitch which was huge. We had a walk around the beautifully laid out site and noted how spacious each pitch was, not at all crammed in like some sites which resemble storage yards more than caravan sites.

There was a playground, onside dog walking and field, adult only areas and plenty of service points. There were rabbits and squirrels about in abundance and ducks on the pond.

We made use of the park and ride, 3min walk from site, £2 return into Shrewsbury, alas, river was on flood alert so no boat ride sadly. Plenty of shops both national and independent.

We didn't use the very local takeaways as they had mixed reviews online so didn't want to waste money.

There's nothing to dislike about this site and to be frank, it trumps the CAMC sites in my opinion.

The only downside was the outfit next to us having a wind chime hanging on the outside of their awning. Pleasant it may be to some in a light breeze, but horrendous all night in high winds.

We took advantage of the offer of 3 nights for 2 and with the club discount on top paid £76 for 3 nights, fully serviced pitch. BARGAIN!

We would visit again and highly recommend Morris Leisure sites.

Yet another superb stay at Oxon Hall.

Took advantage of the 3 for 2 offer as usual.

Staff this visit friendly and approachable although on previous occasions I am sure have met the "Schoolmistress" mentioned on other reviews.

Same high standard as Ludlow site. Facilities are clean and tidy, water is hot and showers have real tap not a button.

The nearby Coop has a great stock of up market, and basic food and drink available. If you didn't want to cook a Chippy and Chinese look busy, along with the park and ride at the back of these, all within a 3 min walk of the site.

We cycled into Shrewsbury about 15 mins to the centre (some hilly sections)

If you want to go further Attingham park and Iron bridge are within 30 min drive.

Lovely site, convenient location, near supermarket, chip shop, Chinese, pubs serving delicious food.

On site facilities very clean, well stocked on site shop. Most reviews I have read, say the staff are friendly and helpful, they must have been having a bad week when we dealt with them.

After booking our pitch some family members and friends also booked, I rang on the off chance we may have been able to be sited near each other, didn’t ask for any details at all, was told site was at capacity and all pitches allocated, I politely said thank you ( for nothing) therefore I was very disappointed on arrival and all weekend, when pitches next to and adjacent our friends remained unoccupied, as did lots of other pitches, not the usual help or response we have had from other Morris sites visited, which have all gone above and beyond to make our stay as good as possible.

Morris Leisure sites are amazing, and this site didn't disappoint.

Our booking was placed on line, very simple, deposit paid, balance paid on arrival, with a special offer applied.

Lovely welcome!

Very well stocked shop.

Set up and then wandered round site, which is beautifully maintained. Didn't use on site facilities, but on checking them out they were pristine.

Pitch located near dog field, which is enclosed, so able to allow dog off lead. Lots of rabbits running around.

Park and ride within walking distance of the site, just £2 each return to Shrewsbury (drop off and pick up was same location).

Just beyond park and ride was a supermarket, chip shop (very nice), Chinese (didn't try, but looked equally busy).

Will definitely return, we do like Morris Leisure sites.
