Great site and staff. Couldn’t fault anything.
The position was lovely - right next door to the Shrewsbury park and ride. Just 5 minutes from a large Coop. Local fish and chip shop and pubs.
The site itself was spotless. Bins emptied every day. No rubbish to be seen anywhere on site.
Shop well stocked. Reception staff really welcoming.
Toilets, showers and wash basins all spotless and warm even though below zero temperatures.

Great site to visit with a adults only section, children’s play area, dog walking field.
Staff very friendly and helpful, the site is spotlessly clean.
Oxon park and ride five minutes walk buses into Shrewsbury about every 20-30 minutes £2. 00 return per person.
Well worth a visit. 5 Stars from us.

Very nice spacious site with good facilities. We had an enjoyable stay.
Ad booked particularly as next to Shrewsbury P&R, which we used to visit Shrewsbury.
Useful local shops and take-aways and pub.
Reception staff not overly friendly.

This was our second visit to this site and it was as spotlessly clean both inside the toilet/shower block and all around the park.
The super pitch that we were allocated was large and well maintained. Be advised if you stop on pitch 9 in winter be prepared to be kept awake form continuous drops from the overhanging trees! This was why when I booked I specifically asked for the pitch we stayed on last time(11) but apparently the lady booking it did not write that in the notes.
On arrival we were met by a very stern school headmistress, who soon put me in my place when I asked why we had been moved to pitch 9. By the way pitch 11 stood empty all week, by the time we really noticed this it was too late to decamp the caravan and set up again.
Our only other niggle was when I went to the shop at 4:50pm to ask for help with the WiFi only to find it locked up and some lights off, I tried the door but it was locked. What was really annoying was that there was someone in there as I could see them moving around but they ignored my knocking on the door. When I did speak to a gentleman the next day his first condescending response was “have you read the information, nobody reads the information” not the response I was expecting.
If I was to recommend anything it would be to enrol all your staff and a customer service qualification, no body was rude, although the school mistress was close, but, no body was approachable and friendly either.
Overall the site was to the high standards that we expect at Morris Leisure and will definitely return.

Great site with warm welcome.
The warden had even added an offer to our booking which I had missed giving a considerable reduction along the Caravan club discount.
It is so handy being next to the park & ride plus as mentioned the shops/eateries at the end of the road. We walked back from Shrewsbury one day which took about 35 minutes.
Not sure we would cycle as the road was quite busy. Look forward to another visit to explore more.

Really enjoyed our stay at Oxon hall,
Brilliant park and ride service which gives a concession to bus pass holders providing return journey to Shrewsbury for £1 each, although more than we would normally pay for a super service pitch,
It worked out at around £40 per night including one small dog,
Having said that it is very central and there is a number of outlets including a super co-op, Gregg's, fish and chips and a Cantonese take away, the Grapes pub is just 0. 6mls up the road, drinks are a bit pricey but apparently the food is lovely,
All in all nothing to dislike, Oxon hall also gives discount for Caravan and Motorhome club although we are not members,
We will definitely return.

Beautifully laid out site with plenty of room on the pitches. The shower/toilet facilities are excellent and there are plenty of them.
We were given a key for the shower block on arrival and they door to them was usually kept locked. I wondered the reason for this and was told it was because the heating was on and people often leave the door open therefore letting the heat out. The block was lovely and warm.
We had a takeaway from the Chinese which is a few minutes walk from the site and it was excellent. The Co-Op, again within walking distance was one of the best we have been to. We also had an excellent Sunday roast at the Ego Restaurant (The Grapes) which is an easy ten minute walk from the site.
The park and ride is also just outside the site and we used that to go into Shrewsbury.
We would return to this site again without hesitation. Well done Morris Leisure and the team at Oxon Hall.

Nice site, very clean, but not the cheapest. Disappointed that TV hook-up is not provided as standard, but not a problem. Staff were polite and efficient.
Cycled into Shrewsbury, which is mostly on a dedicated cycle path and took about 20 minutes.
Handy large supermarket, chippy and Chinese at the entrance.
Would definitely stay again.

Stayed for 3 nights stop over on way to North Wales. Immaculately kept site and toilet/shower block.
Friendly staff, pre-check in service helpful, well stocked on site shop (incl camping/caravan accessories).
Good sized flat pitches. To note, on all service pitch, male/male water tap connector (available in shop if needed).
Reasonably priced rates (£90 - 3 nights on super all service pitch), you get a discount if you’re a Caravan & Motorhome Club Member.
Also you can get a Morris Leisure loyalty card, get it stamped for 12 nights spent at any of their sites and you get a free nights stay.
Great having park and ride to Shrewsbury; well stocked Co-op, Greggs, fish and chip shop and Chinese take-away all adjacent to site entrance.
All in all a great site, highly recommend and would definitely stay again
