We stopped off at Oxon Hall on a fully serviced pitch for 3 nights on our return trip from Dorset in our fifth wheeler.
The site is well thought out and the pitches very spacious. The facilities, shop and staff are excellent.
The park and ride into Shrewsbury is really handy and cheap at the ned of the drive where you will also find a well stocked supermarket, chippy and chinese takeaway.
The farm shop about a mile up the road is very nicely stocked and we found the meat to be excellent.
We did enjoy our visit and because of this we have booked another 'Morris' site for 2023 already

We are returning customers for a few years now, love the Morris sites.
We would recommend this site to any one, P&R on the door step to the site or you can have a walk into town.
Coop, chip shop and Chinese all on the door step and a very short walk to a very nice pub which service excellent food.
5 stars all round from us,
We will come back again next year

Fabulous site so near Shrewsbury. Absolutely perfect for a weekend away exploring Shrewsbury.
Fantastic facilities and spotless the whole time. The Co-op (practically on site) is absolutely brilliant.
Very upmarket and a deli in every sense - as good as a Waitrose or M&S.
Park & ride is so easy & means you can have a drink in Shrewsbury as the car is back at the site.
Would highly recommend & would definitely go back.

Lovely well kept site, nice friendly wardens
Check in very efficient with pre payment but still had to go into reception to collect toilet key and entrance fob. Could have been more COVID safe.
Motorhome service point did not have drinking water so had to use the taps around site which meant blocking the road, this was not a problem when we arrived but can imagine at busy times it causing problems.
The motorhome waste point is not very well designed, positioned in an awkward place and heavy cover to lift of, would be better with a grill that you can just drive over.
Great location close to P&R with good service into Shrewsbury which is a great town.
Pub within walking distance which was lovely, dog friendly and nice food. Again we visited on Thursday night so not too busy.
Good local CO-OP, chip shop, chinese takeaway and chemist in walking distance
Expensive but overall a lovely site

This was our first stay at Oxon Hall campsite but it won't be our last one. We had been impressed with the sister Morris Leisure site in Ludlow earlier in the year so decided to try it out. Access is easy, as it's just off the A5 bye-pass.
This time we chose a super pitch in the adults only area, it was spacious, lovely and quiet, close to the facilities and dog walk. We chose to go the week before the Mayday bank holiday and the whole experience was just what we wanted, peace & quiet, well laid out, immaculate, both inside and out.
The only problem we had was in needing a male/male water hose connector but the shop in reception had everything and more. The staff were all very friendly and helpful too so what's not to like? Wi-Fi was free and both TV and phone reception was good.
The Oxon Park & Ride is right at the Park entrance so journeys into Shrewsbury were easy (every 20 mins) and cheap too, (£1 return for old foggies).
Due to it's medieval centre, Shrewsbury isn't very car friendly and parking is both expensive and limited so I'd recommend the bus every time, and yes, you can take the dog too.
Also at the end of the lane is a pretty large Co-op supermarket, a chippy and a Chinese takeaway.

What a brilliant discovery this site was. Pitch was excellent and plenty of space between units. We had a super pitch.
Very quiet with lovely clean and well maintained facilities.
Best shop for camping equipment I have ever seen. Park and Ride to Shrewsbury next to site and only 10 minutes into the centre of Shrewsbury.
Local pub just 10 minutes walk with an excellent menu which although not cheap served up really very good food. Staff very pleasant and helpful. All very relaxed. Two takeaways very close and the best Coop supermarket I have ever been in.
All in all a perfect trip and we will be back for sure. One of the best trips we have been on in our many years of travelling.
Highly recommend a visit.

Lovely clean site, well organised and nice pitch. Good location for Shrewsbury town centre with park and ride near by.
Unfortunately we went in storm Eunice so couldn’t make the most of the park but did have a little go on the swings.
No pub within walking distance but a short drive into Shrewsbury and The Grapes and Oxon Priory nearby but make sure you book! Really close to the Co-Op and some takeaways if you want to walk there.

Stopped for 3 nights, and as normal, Morris sites didn't let us down.
Great location right next to the park and ride to Shrewsbury, a Chip shop, Chinese, Co-Op and Pharmacy are only a 5 min walk away. Two pubs within 10m walk also made this a site to return to.
The site was well maintained with clean and modern facilities.
We stayed in the Adults only area, which over the weekend filled up.
The wardens weren't particularly welcoming, but other that a really nice place to stay
