 Visited this site just after it opened with my disabled son and stayed 5 nights.
The owners are friendly, personable and are very helpful.
The site is all on level ground with ample room between caravans and is well kept. The toilet block is very clean, modern with under floor heating and is well presented. There is even a separate toilet for the fisherman.
The lake is disable friendly with disabled pegs and a flagstone path around its perimeter for easy access.
There is also a dog walk around the perimeter of the site.
Overall this is one of the best privately owned sites I have been on. Congratulations to the owners for all the hard work they have put into this site

We have just returned from a great stay at Wagtail park,the owners met us there on arrival to give us our keys and passes and to tell us some places to visit. The campsite is brilliant really well maintained and really well set out. The toilets are good enough to be in a hotel! and after a night on the canvas the showers bring you back to life. The fishing lake is right on the site so it would be ideal to fish whilst you could keep an eye on the children playing. I would like to say a big thankyou for looking after us and we will see you again.

We were only the second campers on this brand new site. We stayed for a couple of days and were very pleased indeed. Very friendly owners and excellent location make this a splendid base for exploring the Yorkshire moors and east coast.
Clean and pleasant facilities overlooking lakes. Well spaced out and all the requirements for every aspect of camping. We sat overlooking the lakes on a sunny Yorkshire evening sipping a glass of wine in our motorhome. Fantastic.
Will stay there again for sure. Many thanks to the owners, thoroughly enjoyed our selves.
