 Really well run site, tent pitches aren't just lined in a field but placed individually around trees etc.
Facilities were very clean and plenty of hot water. Only two showers so at busy times there might be a wait.
Handily placed for travel into York either by car or Park & Ride.
Village only a couple of miles away has shop, cafe, pub

Super friendly and easy check in on arrival and was given clear instructions on how to find our pitch,
Massive pitches and was very well looked after
Great scenery and walkways around the site with abundant wildlife

Great place to stay!
Very clean campsite, facilities are clean, they have enough showers and toilets, and washing up space.
Loved the location! Little fishing lake adds to it, very nice.
Shopping centers are 7 min away, city center is 15 min away.
Friendly staff. Loved it !

Warm welcome, including a phone call the day before to confirm arrangements.
Easy access, simple parking, good facilities, including underfloor hearting in the toilet block.
Easy access from York.
Was the most expensive site in our 5 night tour.

Peter the owner met me showed me all the amenities, gave me pamphlets of the local area, gave great info, nice guy.
Toilets and shower areas clean and tidy heated floor helped in December, very close to monks cross park and ride 5 mins, £3. 50 return into York city centre
Handy Toby carvery 5 mins away great value.
I will be back.

Clean facilities & a nice lake to walk round.
The Park & Ride bus to York town centre is only a short drive away with free parking.
The site is pretty much in the middle of no where & is surrounded by busy roads - would have preferred to have had nice walks as an option. Also looses marks for not having a shop on site.
Will probably go back to Wagtail Park at some point but I feel like we have done York now.

Lovely fishing lake,
Site clean , shower and toilet blocks clean
Not much around the area for maybe having a walk out to a local pub or restaurant but only 3 miles from York City

Great site first class customer service.
Well kept and a extremely well looked after fishing pond. Lots of small fish but in first class condition.
We will be going back.
