August 2004 This is an excellent site . A real credit to the camping and caravan club. The facilities were excellent, plenty of them, newly refurbished and clean. There are a couple of small play areas for children and a large indoor recreation room. The site is near to the north bay and is well located for touring the yorkshire coast. There is a brewers fare pub adjoining the site as well as a couple of other good pubs that serve food located nearby. Small shop on site selling essentials and a small take away. All pitches spacious and not too regimented. Friendly helpful wardens. Hopefully we will be visiting this site again for our main holiday next year.

August 2004 Super site, staff extremely helpful and friendly. A bit muddy when we got there as had been a lot of rain but pitch had webbing so vechicle didn't get stuck. You can walk down to the north shore from across the road from site and Brewers Fayre next door, very busy with lots of children, food nice. Good location, visit Filey and Whitby, get out early very limited parking. Great day out at the South shore, bit like Blackpool, kids loved it!!! Onsite chippy good for emergencies, food nice, good shop with essentials. Must have fish & chips in Scarborough or Filey best ever!!!! Visit Flamingo Land, great day out. Kida can't wait to come back, so much to do in this area.

August 2004 What a lovely site! Loads of facilities all newly refurbished and clean. 5 blocks in total. Loads of space for each unit as they have to be 6 metres apart. Small shop and take away onsite and there is a path with access to a Brewers fare pub which was family friendly. 2 play areas for children and a dog walking area. The site is near to the North bay of Scarborough and is well situated for visiting other attractions in the area. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. We hope to visit again next year. This is a site that the Camping and Caravan Club should be rightly proud of.

July 04 Our first time at a CCC site. It was excellent, though we were perched on a hill! Plenty of hot water, clean showers, loos and dishwash facilities. Even the laundry was bang up to date, it told you how long each load would take. And the chippy right next to Peasholm Park is the best I've had in a long time and very reasonably priced too. The onsite chippy wasn't as nice, but the bacon butties were lovely, just the thing after packing away. We'll be going back to this park for sure.

June 2004 We found this a very good site up to the usual C&CC site standards, very clean toilets / shower blocks. The staff & warders were all very helpful & friendly the whole week we were there.
All the improvements had been finished as far as I could tell, play area, games room, all shower blocks, even the gates were electronicly worked with a pin number that you where given on arrival.
Pub about 10 minutes walk away (the Viking I think) does a large variety of meals plus a carvery. Further down the same road is the sea life centre. Park your car for 5 hours for £2 and walk into the town along the prom as it's hard to find a space in the town centre even with a disabled badge.

May 2004 This is a large, well run site, with very clean toilet and wash facilities, but not cheap, which is no less than to be expected from a C&CC site. Excellent location for walking to the North Bay at Scarborough, either by road or the brilliant cliff walk. The Sea Life centre is good and worth the money for a family day pass. We will be visiting this site again, as we never even ventured as far as Scarborough Castle. Great fish & chips can be had from the shop opposite Peashome Park. All in all we had a fabulous bank holiday at this site.

May 2004 This was our first trip in our caravan all we wanted was somewhere to set up and get to know our little van, the site was lovely, Exceptionally clean shower and toilet blocks and with friendly campers and staff. Our littlest furry member was allowed to come as long as she was on a lead and cleaned up after as with most places. There is a kids adventure park but it's still under construction. We were near enough to Scarborough to go for an ice cream with the kids and come back with hot chips to our caravan! Nice site.

August 2002 Used this site several times over the years and it has a nice open feel to it. It's easy to get to Scarborough by car or bus and it has a good family pub right next to it which has a gate through from the site. There is a path to the clifftops across from the site which takes you to the Cleveland Way and Scarborough's north bay.
Facilites are simple and clean although the shop is poorly equipped. There is a chip shop on site but it's opening times are short. There are a couple of play areas for the kids as well as a playing field and a dog walking area.
Since we were there last, the Camping and Caravanning Club have taken over the site and it's facilities have been upgraded so this, hopefully, will have addressed the negatives.

12-14 september 2003. Excellent site, perfect location and will definitely return. There are many improvements planned including a new shop, new hook ups and refurbished showers. In fact the site is closing early this season to do all this.
When this is all complete I can see this being a very popular location.
