A typical Camping and Caravan club site with good and clean facilities and helpful staff.
The site is alongside a coastal road which can get busy but the noise is not realy noticable unless you are pitched on the road boundary side.
There is nice and busy pub virtually next door and across the road is the coastal path leading to Scarborough which is a lovely walk.

Nice clean peaceful site with good toilet & shower facilities, pitches are kept well & very spacious with electric hook up if required, on site shop for bits & pieces.
Very well looked after all staff I came into contact with was very friendly.
Nice pub just a few yards from site able to get food 7 a pint, lovely or if your feeling a bit more energetic an easy walk along the cliffs into Scarborough to all the shops, pubs & beach.
Stayed here 2 times now will go back

The site is conveniently located for Scarborough by foot car and bike.
The site itself is quite a let down. The hardstanding pitches are actually plastic mesh pressed into the ground with grass growing through. Where the grass is worn away you’ll be pitched in mud as we are this week.
The hot water in all facilities is tepid at best and several cubicles in all blocks for men have doors that either don’t lock or are missing completely.

Excellent check-in, spent time helping us find a suitable pitch.
Nice big site, we had a grass pitch itch on the far side away from the road and nice and quiet.
One of the toilet blocks had no hot water and someone told us this was the same last time they came; this wasn't a problem though as there were other toilet blocks available.
Great to have the pub almost on site and there was a nice walk along the nearby cliffs.
Although it was a quite acceptable site I'm not sure it's worth the club membership as there are many non club sites just as good and easy to find on websites like this one.

We were booked in very efficiently at the gate and offered a choice of a few hardstandings as the site was pretty full. The pitch had the plastic mesh under grass but was flat and slightly sloping.
Facilities were nice and clean but one toilet block had no hot water due to a broken boiler. It was repaired while we were there.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Its a big site but not noisy despite being pretty full.
The pub by the site is pretty good and does food. It has a gate from the site.
Buses stop outside the site, exit via side gate with regular services to Whitby or Scarborough. Since we have bus passes we used them regularly.
It's a short walk from the site to the Cleveland Way. The way down to North Bay involves some steep, uneven steps so, take care or walk along the road way.
The views from the cliff path are lovely.
We enjoyed a walk from the site to North Bay then along the lovely Marine Drive to the main town. We saw dolphins in the bay.
Lots of chip shops and pubs in town!
There is a fuel station close by and supermarkets in town.
There is lots to see in the area including the North Yokshire Moors.
TV and phone reception are good, the free WiFi was pretty good most of the time.
We had good weather and enjoyed our stay.

We've used this Site most years but it, like many other C & C Sites, seems not to have kept up with competition.
On arrival, it was very busy, due to a concert at the open air Theatre.
We had a hard standing - well its actually a plastic mesh over grass and electric on a nearly full Site.
Facilities were busy, although there are several amenity blocks, each had limited showers and wash basins. On our second night, all doors had been left open and notices warned about Covid.
Had there been an outbreak?
The best thing to say about wifi is that you no longer have to pay for the poor quality.
The redeeming feature, as always, is the excellent front line staff.
On the basis of this Site, we won't be rejoining the Club. There are too many better sites out there at similar cost.

Stayed here for the Bryan Adams concert at the open air theatre.
On arriving staff were pleasant and helpful.
Pitch was large and very clean.
Toilet block cleaned quite a few time.
Site was busy but quiet.
This is the second time we have stayed here and will return.

This is a nice site, the staff was very welcoming when we arrived, they showed us to our pitch which was large enough for the Caravan, Awing, Car, and there was still enough room between us the next pitch. They told us where the amenities were etc, we were booked on a hard standing, but this turned out to be grass with reinforce matting which was fine,
The ladies toilet block was clean but a but dated, it have 2 showers, 3 enclosed washbasins and 4 toilets and 1 family room, there is a bus stop/service outside that runs into Scarborough or Whitby,
Nice pub Scalby Manor in walking distance, supermarkets are not that far away, this site has a busy road near by so if you have a pitch near the road it may be a bit noisy,
Would be good to have more places to dispose of rubbish as the only ones are near the entrance,
Definitely would stay again.
