i would not recomend this site atall to anyone. my partner child and friends
rang ahead to check that they had pitches and how many were in our party and we told no problem. we then drove all the way down from the north only to be told on arrival they would not except our party as there werw to many females !!!. the owners were extremely rude and unhelpful and we were left driving around the area at 8-30pm looking for a site.

The shop is now no longer open, no food shops within walking distance. However the Star pub across the road is fantastic and does very good food. Some major attraction nearby apparently.

Brilliant camp site, plenty tent pitches available (big place) clean showers and toilets, a little shop for lollies in the hot summer weather! I camp here every year with others when we go on our annual camping trip to Alton Towers this camp site in very, very near to Alton Towers in fact a bike ride away.
Good, happy memories.
