This is a great site !
The site is massive and is well maintained. With a choice of pitching next to the river or in the main fields. Excellent showers which are always spotless. Fantastic base to explore the park, with a connecting path to the Watkin route up Snowdon.

A lovely peaceful site the a beautiful little village ten minutes walk away.

We visited here on the strength of the other reviews. I honestly can't pick a fault with this campsite. Only a 10 minute walk from Beddgelert, and a short cycle to the Snowdon Watkins path, the views from my sleeping bag were fabulous! We had masses of space with the nearest tent about 30 metres away. The shower and toilet block were spotless. We'll definitely be back soon!

We have just spent a wonderful week at this campsite, the owners are helpful friendly and keep the site clean and well run. The toilets and showers were spotless. The back road walk down a lovely quiet lane and over stile and along a lovely river side walk down into Beddgelert was excellent for our very energetic springer spaniel to let of steam.

We had plenty of room to pitch our tent and space to our- selves, the only grumble we had was about the midges but a good repellant soon saw them off. We liked the site so much we are going back in august for week

We have just spent 5 nights at this lovely campsite, with beautiful scenery, ran by very friendly people. With nice clean toilet and shower blocks. This site is only a short walk from Beddgelert. The owner even allowed us to use an empty field in which to exercise our dog, which he loved. Will be returning again soon.

A good site, about 5 mins from town on foot, not too sheltered to be cold but not too exposed to be unbearable in the sun. Very clean facilities and free, hot showers which were a pleasant surprise!

The grass on the tent pitches while we were there was a bit long but dont let this put you off as its a minor thing and they've more than likely cut it again by now! Its just that we kept loosing cutlery and tent pegs when ever we put them down in the grass!

Local facilites in the village are adequate, its a bit touristy but not too spread out so a 2 minute walk and you really are in the beautiful wilds of Wales.

For a mid wales campsite, many of which still have an awful lot of catching up to do if they are to compete with the continent, this one is pretty good and a definate recommendation.

Stayed here for bank holiday weekend campsite was great - toilets spotless - really picturesque area the only thing that I could warn anyone about is the price of goods out of the local shop in beddgelert. If you need anything you will be charged for it and expect it to be nearly double the price back home. There is a good Tesco and Lidl in Portmadog. But dont let this put you off one of the nicest sites in the area

Just had four nights at this great campsite, the views are fantastic. Level spacious pitches, toilet and showers were kept nice and clean. The owners are very friendly. There is a security barrier by the reception and it closes at 10 o'clock then reopens at 7 o'clock in the morning. Its a great base for visiting surrounding areas

We stayed here for 3 nights and were very impressed. The pitches are huge and you get to choose where you want in one of the fields or nearer the river. The shower block was always very clean and new. The views were fantastic and the walk to Beddgelert easy in about 10 mins. We will definatley be going again next year and would recommend this site to anyone.

We have stayed at Cae Du campsite three times this year. Twice in September and once in October. The campsite is vast and is split into different fields by dry stone walls and fencing. The scenery is very picturesque with mountains all around. The main facility block has two large showers , sinks and toilets in the gents and ladies, which are very clean and warm, this block opens at 0700 and closes at 2200, but there are other toilet facilities on the site. There are hair driers in shower block (20p) and a socket if you prefer your own (20p). There are plenty of walks direct from the site, including the strenuous but rewarding walk up Mole Hebog. I would recommend this site and will be going back again next year.

Just returned from the best site we have found in the area. Nice clean family site run by two of the most welcoming people. Having visited this site two to three years ago the transfomation has to be seen to be believed. This being done by two of the most dedicated people we have met. The personal sacrifce made by them is amazing, a gem in the crown of this small but great little village. I am impressed see you both soon good luck with your venture.
