What a fantastic place! We had a full 14 days here and loved every minute of it. Our kids didn't want to leave.
The staff work hard to keep the place absolutely immaculate. Touring spaces are limited and the weekends are pretty busy with campers but there are three toilet blocks so there was never any issues.
The play park and games areas, both inside and out kept the kids entertained and at the weekends there was outside catering which was handy. I would suggest getting in early though as the artisan pizzas sold out pretty early so we sadly missed out on that.
If you are touring, plan your route as there are exceptionally steep approaches to the camp site and the village of Birchover is a tight squeeze with the caravan.
We would all definitely come back here.

Lovely site. Clean and tidy, good welcome from friendly, helpful and accommodating staff, no problems.
Much of the site is a bit hilly for tents, but that can be said for anywhere in the Peaks. Useful shop although when we were there we had to go and fetch someone from reception to open up - no probs, I mean who wants to rush when you're on holiday?
Lovely area with two nearby pubs and places for the kids to play safely on the rocks nearby etc

Lovely campsite, very clean and very well run.
At the weekend it has a bar, pizza and a chip Van's open and it's all for £10 a night.
Yes we will be going back and very soon love it

What a fantastic site ! I have 2 11 year olds and never seen them all weekend, food and drinks available on site, ping pong and badminton on site.
The staff are really helpful.
The showers, toilets and pot washing areas are so clean and and plenty of them so didn’t have to queue or wait for anything. We had some great walks and chilled in an evening.
Security ensures you are safe and well and no one is causing a nuisance.
Already looking to book again for this month !

This was our first outing in a campervan and chose Barn Farm because we wanted a small site with walks and pubs within a short distance.
The site was exactly what we needed. There were no tents at this time of the year and only a dozen or so other vans and caravans so it was beautifully peaceful. The silence at night was amazing.
The facilities were superb; taps by the pitch, really clean toilets and super-warm shower block. There was no shop due to Covid so bring what you need.
Lovely walk to Stanton Moor and Nine Lady Stones. Good route to Winster and a great pub, The Miners Standard, just above the village.
There are 2 pubs in Birchover, a few mins walk away. The Red Lion was great and the Sardinian chef does amazing food.
Altogether a great intro to campervanning but there is a lot of camping space so could be busy in season. At this time of year - brilliant!

Excellent service, beautifully clean camp site. Facilities were constantly being cleaned.
Great adherence to social distancing and a clever traffic light system for using facilities. Staff were helpful and friendly. Excellent site.
Only thing that brings my rating down to a 9 is the peacocks! Look stunning but incredibly loud at 5am! If you're a heavy sleeper or early riser you'll be fine!
Would definitely return.

Great campsite with good, clean facilities,
Real shame shop wasn’t open due to COVID,
Lovely views and walks but a map would have been useful!,
Handy being near the park, would be better if there was 2 parks for different ages, little one’s were just sitting on the slide crying, and older one’s sitting on the swing on their phone.
But definitely will be going back again 👍🏻👍🏻.

Excellent facilities that were extremely clean.
Just one fault and that was the extremely loud peacocks which crowed from around 4am every morning waking us all up.
Very friendly staff though and the place was kept immaculate.

Great really well organised and friendly site with a great location and fantastic views we will be back.
They had really thought about the Covid guidelines and it felt thorough but not intrusive well done all
