Love this campsite, lots of room, toilet/shower facilities really good, clean and well maintained.

Booking is a breeze, all staff super friendly.

Only ten minutes walk to waterfront, we had so much fun crabbing with the family!

We'll be back

I let them know that I would be arriving late and they just said "okay, pay in the morning".

I arrived at 9:45pm and was able to choose anywhere I wanted to pitch. After setting up camp I was able to use the fully lit and HEATED washroom; outside temp was already below freezing, so much appreciated.

Because I had a 12 hour journey to get there, including a small accident, I slept through the morning but they still didn't hassle me about paying and staff went above and beyond to ensure I was ok and warm enough (I was).

The site was practically empty, so very quiet (I woke up to the sound of wild birds) and just what I needed for a getaway.

There was waterlogging in parts but I expected that, we're in the UK winter on the coast! It didn't detract from my enjoyment.

Great location between Lymington and Keyhaven with direct access to the coastal path, but if they are going to open all year, the campsite should be able to cope with the winter weather.

This site floods and all the touring pitches were under water. You'll need your wellies to get to the showers and elsan point. If only the pitches were a bit wider and raised a few inches the site would be excellent.

Then the site froze and was like an ice rink and none of the water taps worked. More work is required to make this site winter camper friendly like insulating and putting a door on the Elsan point hut and a water tap in the toilet and shower block to fill up your container from a tap that won't freeze.

This is probably a great site at other times of the year but avoid use in winter.

The site was well placed for walking and cycling over the marshes.

The facilities were dated and disappointing with 1 male toilet shut down and the other with only 2 out of 4 showers working, but as the site was not busy still managed ok.

Again the same thing with dish washing facilities which weren't under cover so if it rains your going to get wet whilst washing up

Overall I don't feel it justified the £40 per night charge.

Arrived at site staff explained everything to us and where to find water etc,

Our 1st time in our motorhome was in gale force wind and rain

We did go for a walk though and found a great little pub nearby lovely food and friendly staff.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hurst View despite the weather

Everything was clean and tidy

Staff great

Would I recommend this site, YES from our experience.

We absolutely loved this campsite, it had everything we needed on site, everyone was very friendly and loved the fact it was very family oriented.

We will be returning and will make this our regular campsite, we have recommended to other family members and friends.

10/10 from our family 😊

A great site, with a great location - close to beaches and attractions.

The facilities were well maintained and clean.

Although it was quite busy it was still quiet.

We will certainly return again.

Very easy going site, pitch where you want to. Large camp site with good clean showers and toilets along with shop and small cafe shop.

One downside for us is they do allow group camping which can lead sometimes to being noisy into the early hours with campers enjoying themselves with groups of 3 plus families camped together.

Overall would stay again as we have now camped here twice this year

Great area with lots to do in surroundings

Excellent site with very good facilities and friendly staff, nice chilled vibe,

Plus being so close to Keyhaven Marshes meant that the ‘dawn chorus’ was an absolute treat whilst staying there in a tent !

You can walk to the sea from the campsite, if you want to go away for some relaxation in a quiet environment that’s close to the ocean with good walking routes on the doorstep,

I can highly recommend Hurst View

A return visit to this site, fourth year now and my first visit this year.

Nothing has changed form last year, the site is very flat, well maintained, decent toilet and showers and washing up areas. Plenty of bins and fresh water points.

Hard standing and electric if you want it, or tons of space if you are happy with just grass.

Cafe on site open most of the day, however did not use it and there are a few supplies in the shop in reception, ice creams, cold drinks and ice too.

Great walks to Lymington, Keyhaven and Hurst castle, plus easy access by car to all the New Forest has to offer.

Dog, children and campfire friendly.

Chequers pub up the road still open and serving good food and choice or drinks, we had a great meal in there at a reasonable price.

£25 for the two of us this year, so the prices have gone up, but it is not the end of the world and worth the money.

Site was quiet in the evenings and I will return time and time again.
