Very pleasant. Check in was very simple and a handy map given to us.
Great to see facilities for ice blocks etc. Shop was well stocked.
Site was very quiet on an evening which was lovely.
Toilets were cleaned regularly.
Would happily visit again!

Decent site with clean and ample toilets and showers, an on site shop and reasonably priced takeaway, a children's play area and free pitching.
We did have some issues with noise after dark, and the play area was colonised by unfriendly teens at 8pm - site security could have been more present.
I feel it was a little expensive but on the whole a positive experience.

Hurst view is a great site, near to the seaside and little fishing harbours for crabbing.
Toilet facilities and showers are good and there’s a handy shop on site.
It’s a little exposed in high winds so by the hedges is best for tents.
Play park is a little outdated but the kids played happily anyway.

Was clean and easy to find.
There are walks all around the sight.
A pub close by even though we did not stay long enough to enjoy visiting the pub.
There are some permanent residents living at campsite, which I did not expect.

A tricky site to review because it was clearly very popular, which was part of the problem. It stretches in to three fields and was rammed with lots of groups.
People were having fun but we go camping to get away from the noise and busy city life and this was not the place to do that.
The beautiful nature reserve next door was somewhat spoilt by the party going on as soon as we got back on site - 80s music, singalongs, and tales of vomiting and falling over from someone in the loo the next day.
That being said the owners are clearly very friendly, but it is more of a holiday centre than a place to enjoy nature.

Our second visit here, very well placed for Lymington by bike or foot. Good facilities well kept, suitable for getting ready for a black tie event as well!
Nearest pub a 15-minute walk.
The tent field can be windy when it's, er, windy. Right next to the marshes and nature reserve- a birder's paradise. We may well be back every year.
Emails promptly answered and bookings effortless.
Only gripe- price up 25% in 3 years. But understandable these days.

Had a great few days staying here again. The staff are very helpful and friendly.
We love this site because you can have a proper campfire so you can toast marshmallows on it.
The weather was really good to us.
Will be booking here again for 10 days for next year.
Would definitely recommend staying here 👌

Liked location. Disliked showers (too hot with no control and 18 second reset) and nowhere to sit after. Wife is disabled so would not have been able to use.
Was sited in a highly exposed pitch even though I had told them this was a first outing in campervan with awning. £500 awning got destroyed by wind exposure. Everyone else on site was fine. Ended up leaving a day early.
Shop and cafe were closed until next summer even though this site still advertises as open. This was a very expensive holiday when losses are considered.

The toilets, showers and washing facilities were great and the ‘lower gate’ access to the coastal path was super for cycling and getting to the pub.
The drive through the site to the camping fields caused some concern as the statics were not pleasing on the eye and I was concerned that I’d misunderstood the website.
There was plenty of room as the site was quiet. We found that being on a site that allows fires has a downside if everyone decides it’s a good idea to burn stuff all the time!
Cafe was not open during our stay.
I could see this site suited the large groups who were getting together in a very relaxed atmosphere.
