Although we've visited Anglesey a couple of times, for our first stay we followed the reviews to Dafarn Rhos. Tip: follow their directions, there are some very narrow roads on Anglesey.
We received a warm welcome and were guided to our allocated pitch with assistance to park if required. We were sideways in a sloping field but the pitches were all level so no chocks were required. There are electric points and water taps on each pitch.
Pitches are accessed via crushed stone 'roads' and the hard standing is like grit which had a tendency to get everywhere. We had a sea view and, on one of the furthest away pitches were only about 300m from the lovely beach.
Toilets and showers are of the portacabin type but were modern and very clean and there was plenty of hot water.
All in all we were very pleased with Dafarn Rhos, our only gripe was that, although dogs are allowed, they are not specifically catered for i. E. No tie off points outside toilets and no area for them to exercise off lead.
Moelfre is about a mile away and has a pub, cafes, gift shops, small shop and an excellent chippy. Benllech is about 3 miles further on and has a stunning beach, a Tesco and Co-op, and a bit more going on.
One thing you notice about the island are the number of sites available to choose from but in Dafarn Rhos we were not disappointed.

Very warm welcome by 2 of the team. We camped in beach field, 33, close to 1 toilet & potwash.
Every pitch has electric and water. Plenty of space. Lovely and quiet. Fob access to Lligwy beach.
Nice costal walk round to Moelfre.
Shower block was always clean, good facilities. Would recommend and would stay again.

Our stay was peaceful, relaxing and straightforward. We were immediately shown our
Plot and given directions to immaculate showers and toilets. The plots are spaciouslly distant for your privacy and all have amazing views of the bays and countryside.
The site is secure with key fob entry, on site wardens and a manned reception.
The site is positioned well and within easy reach of Angelsey 's many places of interest to visit.
Surrounded by lush countryside beautiful bays' wildlife and birds of prey.
We'll definitely visit again.

Whoever gave this one star on Yell must have an axe to grind.
The people are nice, security unrivalled, facilities good, but the location is brilliant, just above Lligwy beach.
Our plot had a lovely view of the bay. Will review again post lockdown.

Best beach site on Anglesey. Fenced personal area with water on pitch. Large pitches, especially important at this time.
Lovely views, plenty of facilities and excellent showers.
You will not be disappointed staying here.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay despite the mixed weather. Site was peaceful even though our pitch was backing onto the beach car park. Easy access to the beautiful beach - very large at low tide.
It would have been nice to have a view of the beach but most pitches with views, seem to be seasonal pitches.
Site was well cared for without being too regimented ( not rows of caravans in straight lines ) and not overcrowded.
Would happily stay here again.
